Great video, but a lot of the parts aren't linked at all or linked incorrectly. Kinda a bummer having to spend 15+ minutes trying to find the exact parts used. For anyone wondering they used Detroit Speed headers (PN 061005DS) but I'll pass on spending $3500 on headers, that's half the cost of the supercharger.....ended up going with some flowtech turbo headers and just flipped them upside down to have the collectors facing back. Only $305 plus some time with my welder, happy with the results.

Excited to follow this project. We're working on a 92 Coupe we're putting a Coyote in. For power steering we're looking at possibly running a Volvo electric power steering pump. The 92 didn't start as extensive as this, but rust has made it a much bigger project. That and we've been waiting 9 months for swap headers now, that's the biggest hurdle right now. Love the work as always!

Man, this is cool. But also, damn, I’ve never seen the stress and “if you give a mouse a cookie” nature of engine swaps condensed into such a short video. And this was a drop-in high dollar kit. Imagine trying this with weird swaps nobody’s done yet.

First off I love the build!! I can't wait to see it drive. Question for you, I need your opinion, I have a 1973 Mustang Convertible, looking a Chris Alston coilover and Quad-link rear suspension. My question, rebuild the 351 Cleveland and mate with a 5 speed Tremec conversion or Coyote swap? I like the idea of having original engine with aluminum heads staying closer to true setup. Cleveland motor add 30% value to the car supposedly. But would like to hear your thoughts. Great work!! Let me know when you want me to send you me car for its overhaul.😀😀👍🏻😂

This is as true of trying to sell a car as it is your own labor (i.e. getting a job). I was accused of being a scammer for offering someone 2500 bucks for a car they were asking 3000 for. I love the build and hope to win. I have followed Engine Power and Detroit Muscle on the progress. I am wondering where the engine horsepower and torque were set to. The TKX is limited to 600 ft lbs. The first run with the 3.75 pulley yielded 811/662 which already exceeds the tranny's max torque. The final run with the 3.25 pulley was 1003/799. Obviously the last run is super sweet but would destroy the drive train. Could you let us know the final installed horsepower and torque are?
@MrRangersfan123

I'm pretty sure those torque limits are rated for a 6000lb vehicle but I could be wrong. For example the T56 is "rated" at 700 ft lbs, but you can find plenty of builds with over 1000 ft lbs of torque on that transmission.

That's not 3D printed. Those lines you see aren't layer lines, they're machining marks from a CNC mill. Also, "plastic" is a wide range of materials. They're likely using an engineering thermoplastic like POM or PEEK, which would give it similar strength to aluminum.

Since the newer cars have electric assist steering and you upgraded the steering why not stay with an electric assist? It only makes sense on this resto-mod build. Sure is looking good!

a lot of work and a lot of money to put a coyote in there.... no wonder you don't see a ton of old cars with the coyote swap.

im dying to do that to my SVO mustang car handles excellent for a 1986 car but 200hp is a headache

200 HP should be a heartache instead of a headache, I know if my car made just 200HP I would cry, I'm running a modified LT5 from a wrecked 2019 ZR1 , I dynoed at 1036WHP and it's very reliable and streetable , it lives on in a 1971 Javelin/AMX
