Good to hear you skated past it all. Weather here is dry but just west of heaven.

@greenGardenGuy1 Bill, you once mentioned that you had a water line run to the house. I was kind of curious how you find out more about the places it’s available and procedures. Some of the places we are looking at are pretty close to Volcano Rd, but there seems to be no map as to the availability of residential water service. Aloha.

For the most part, municipal water service follows the towns and the main roads. A few subdivisions have there own but that is really rare. It would be noted if it existed. Most people away from the main roads catch rain water from the sky. They back it up by hauling municipal water with trucks. There is no public water on my road either. Hwy 11 is 3/10 mile from my door. I connected to the 12" main out there and ran private pipe down the roadside to my house.

I like to imagine that when we dream our souls travel through time and space.

Not much difference between imagination and reality in a dream. We free ourselves from the trapping of social conventions while sleeping. The quantum reality unfolds in sleep. Time and space have no bearing. I do not like to speak of events like this in public because people think I'm a crack pot when I talk about remote viewing or precognition. In short, I see the future clearly at times and often dream myself to distant location. It has been going on since I was a boy and i am very used to it. I see nothing special about it. We can all do it we just do not believe it is possible.

@@GreenGardenGuy1 I understand you Bill. Sometimes when I practice mindfulness, I try my best to imagine what a distant planet in a far away galaxy with an ocean with waves crashing against distant shores looks like. Somewhere deep in the cosmos there is a beautiful planet similar to earth.

Everything was wilted this morning and Im watering twice a day. The creek the water comes from is pretty low. Buuuut... It could be worse. I could still be in New Mexico struggling to get anything to survive in triple digits. We live in a baked potato. The house will get up to 92 in the daytime then drop down at night. It was 112 outside a couple of days ago. Pretty hot for almost Canada. I figured Hawaii would get there eventually. I think it still looks preferable, depending on who you like to be around.

If it ever got as hot on this Hawaiian mountain side as it does in the Mainland most people on earth would be dead. 89 is the hottest temperature i ever saw here.

I have a question regarding my Mango tree I am in Oceanside Ca an we've chatted once before and you mentioned powdery mildew can be an issue but a few months ago my tree started getting brown tips an then a few weeks ago about 90% of the leaves turned a rusty color could it be verticillium wilt ?
@GreenGardenGuy12 ай бұрын
Yes, it could be. The other choice is anthracnose. If 90% of the tree is effected it is probably verticillium. Not a lot to do at this point. The damage sounds complete. Mango are very particular about environment. They only work well in a narrow range of climates. Try seeking mango with heavy disease resistance.
