The emotion and pure euphoria of the vocals in this song bring tears of happiness to my eyes. Ethereal and amazing.

The moment at 3:06 in the single when the melody crosses over and down across a resolution of the chords is one of the best things IVE EVER HEARD in popular music. I can't imagine what it must have been like to have discovered and actualized that transition. "YES" is more than a very good song- it's an outstanding transcendent life affirming recording. I can't praise the composition, the arrangement and the vocal performance highly enough. If anyone wants to know what 11/10 sounds like, "Yes" is it.

Dear David, thank y🤗u for your singing masterclass detailing your phenomenal ‘Yes’ performance - you have demonstrated both in the studio and in live performances your talent that no other British singer has reached thus far. After watching your video, I am beginning to understand how many things a singer has to concentrate on as the song progresses and in front of a live audience, this is a great achievement. Stay safe and stay Blessed, today and always - Amen

Thank you David for this. Thank you and Bernard for those wonderful albums. I absolutely love them both. I must play (on guitar) Yes at least once a week and always try to do the vocals (which I cannot do very well). The one song that I feel is the most beautiful song is Although. I listened to it first in my late 20s (married with two kids) laying on the settee with lights down low, just listening. It became on of my top 10 songs. I’m now approaching 60 and still listen to it at least twice a week. I feel the hurt, the happiness, the pride but most of all it’s just love! Thank you

This performance You believe it I'm impressed. You tore out my heart. The way you sing is with soul, don't know the technical thing, but you did it with this song. This has always been my favourite song to sing when I'm alone pottering about, making a cuppa tea or doing dishes etc. Obviously I sound nothing like David, but I've always got a lot of pleasure from singing it. Probably sounds awful but in my head it sounds ok. So I found this really interesting. And when David starting singing at the end, well that was a real treat. Thanks for the video, David. You also have a lovely talking voice, as well as your amazing singing voice. Hope to find more of you in videos like this.

Superb. The interesting thing for me, as someone trained in Neuro Linguistics was watching him actually looking for the notes when going high and into his head, I may be wrong but I think he visualizes the resonance of the note as he is singing it.....Bloody marvellous....
