It was very effective, i had done it a few times before but didn't do it regularly, but whenever I feel stressed out i do yog nidra and it immediately relaxes me. Now I have decided to continue for 90 days .

Yes video is nice, but unfortunately just 1/4th part of original yog nidra technique as taught by ancient sages. Now a days yog nidra is merely a relaxing technique. Close the eyes, relax and visualise your inner soul, surroundings, power. No one ever thought that visualise yourself is done in two ways. One way is just thinking and thinking yourself which is just an illusion. Another original way was (ancient times technique) to come out of physical body for few minutes and visualise the real surroundings while in yog nidra and visualise the real truth of how actually you look while out of physical body, what surroundings truly look like which cant be seen with physical eyes. But this pure yog nidra technique vanished and is currently known to only few yogis. Why? Because this technique was misused to such extent that the masters kept it secret and taught to only those who they believe they never misuse it. Today the meditation or yog nidra means relaxing voice, thinking, beautiful background music, feeling good and peace....... without knowing the truth. Jai mata di.🙏

@Bhavishya Sharma Thanks bhavishya. Astral travel is also a dream like happening. But in yog nidra you have a power to come out of your physical body in reality for few seconds to minutes to hours. Think of ancient times where no headphones no background music was there and no binaural beats. Even then those yogis use to leave physical body for few hours and travel to different places and then enter back. I also know this original technique taught by my guru but never strongly attempted to leave the physical body since its a dangerous technique (thats why taught only to those who are spiritually strong). But people may find this yog nidra technique little boring because once correct method is taught then no background music or voice is needed. It is performed naturally without electronic gadgets. Pranayam - Kapalbhati , deep breathing , agnisar , anulom vilom , nadi shodhan Asana - Sarvagasna , halasna , surya namaskar Dhyan & Tratak Do this , this should help for now.
