Savage Dabs : Children DON’T suddenly wake up one day & begin acting this way. Clearly, this is a dysfunctional family. Many of these shows make parents look like they’re HOLIER-THAN-THOU, & they make their kids look PROBLEMATIC (without laying blame, where blame generally belongs: On the parents). This child (& other children) can receive ALL the help in the world, but the second they go back into the milieu that contributed (& most-likely caused) these behavioural issues, it’s back to square one. So sad & frustrating to watch. Phil gets his SHOW & the family goes back home (as fragmented as they had arrived).😔
@savagedabs85364 жыл бұрын
@@elainakosmidis8657 I get that but that's not what I was commenting on. The fact that they got on that show tells me they love her and want change. This isn't a blame game either she's a kid that's acting like an asshat and deserves the consequences that come her way. Of course the parents aren't perfect they never are and that includes me but they are her parents and they aren't abusing her and are providing a good life for her she's not smart enough to take advantage of that.

These so called adults will never understand. Your child is what you made it. Children aren’t born with bad attitudes. It’s the people around a child which shapes its attitude and it’s usually its own parents.. but all that the parents do is come on shows to complain as if nothing is their fault and their child was just born evil. Don’t blame the clay for taking a bad shape. Blame the potter.

But her parents seem so calm and loving, one of the best parents I've seen so far on Dr Phil. Tbh, I think it is something else that hurt her, maybe cyberbullying or smtg. But Dr Phil has a PhD and over 50 years of experience and has practically seen almost everything, I trust him in handling this situation.
@aishwaryaraju9214 жыл бұрын
друг well, if something else hurt her, then it’s her parents job to find out what it is and stop it. Not take her to a show which makes her feel like more of a freak. She needs a dose of normality. And trust me, my parents are wonderful too. To others. I know what I’ve had to put up with. And also they don’t realise they’re being hurtful. They think it’s the right thing to do. So they’re not entirely at fault. Countries should make a parenting course mandatory for all couples who plan to have kids. People have kids out of family pressure or boredom or because they need someone to take care of them when they’re old. Parenthood is not for everyone. It’s a skill. If you can’t graduate the course, don’t bring children into this world and hurt them so much that they are pushed to hurt themselves or others. PS: serial killers have bad parents.

This reminds me a lot of what I used to do to my mom, single mother of five and. I was 14 at the time and she couldn’t handle me any more and sent me to military school. Trust me everyone that you hangout with that you think will have your back, they won’t protect you when you get sent to jail or wherever they send you. Your parents will always be there for you. Always! No matter what you do. I have a feeling she’ll turn her life around for the better anyone can, I mean I did. I play piano and sing at my church band and help other girls who are going through what she’s going through. And no it wasn’t because of military school that changed me that was freaking traumatizing I was bullied every day I was there and had no friends. But it was the love and forgiveness of my mother and the love of God that changed me. There’s nothing more fulfilling then that.

This is too toxic a relationship. And if that girl is reading this or her parents they had better find a more suitable place for her. Obviously she is rebelling because she is unhappy with the way she was parented. She fell into a bad social support which happens all too often. Now she is in trouble. This is a horrible toxic relationship that will only get worse as it is. That is not parenting. Darling, if you think your husband is going to support you if either one or both of you are locked away then you need some serious help. You are digging a ditch for yourself and you don't even know it. Do you know how difficult it is being a parent? I wanted to see the sequel to this show but it just made me sick to my stomach.

George Lee Hart HONESTLY that’s a great option. If my child did ANY of this stuff, i’m prosecuting. If you don’t want the consequences don’t do the behavior. You don’t get a pass to steal from me, threaten my life, or steal my identity because you are my child, in fact it’s worse that you would steal from your own family. It shows lack of empathy or insight. It shows a future criminal. If you wanna be a criminal, then live like one. I will not enable or allow a criminal to be leech on my life, especially not when they are living in my own damn house. I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR, I would prosecute if my child did it more than 1x (not the threats to the family she goes into a 5150, 72 hour hold straight away, no chances and I will not endanger my family for a manipulation tactic) and she showed NO REMORSE OR APOLOGY. This is what this girl has done. If you have been given a chance and told exactly what to expect if you do it again, I think you would be dumb to do it again but if you do, you will be dealing with the DA/prosecutor and not me anymore. 😂

Argent Knight: Artemis Too late ;) but thanks anyway for your input on how I should handle MY uterus and right to give birth. ANYWAY. I have a 15 year old and 17 year old, they are both honor students with multiple colleges scouting them. My 17 year old has had 2 offers already. BUT i’m sure your child walks all over you. I’m sure you think that just love and enabling makes it all ok. I’m sure you have a child who is doing exactly what she is doing and i’m sure you’re upset that you are a unfit parent and you know you can’t really do anything because you are the passive parent who doesn’t know what traits a psychopath would even exhibit. (go ahead and google that for your response) I’m not the psychopath, sociopath, or an enabler(like you) but I am someone who loves my children but has still taught them right from wrong & that every action has a consequence, they know that if they make bad decisions they have to deal with the bad results. If my children chose to steal my identity, my car, threaten to kill me or harm someone in the family. I would protect my family. (unlike you obviously) Any 15 year old knows that if you steal a car you can go to jail. Any 15 year old knows that if you steal ANYONES identity along with stealing their money you can go to jail. Why commit the crime if you don’t wanna do the time? She’s done this multiple times, showed 0 remorse or even apologized for it and even stated she would have her family killed if they sent her away. I think we all know she needs help. But if help does not work and she breaks the law again. She will need to be treated like a criminal because she committed a criminal act. They cannot protect her once she hits 18 and she needs to learn very fast that she is not invincible and the law applies to her too. People who grow up like her become criminals who are surprised they got caught. They are amazed that they actually got sentenced. And they are the ones who are the most dangerous. So...maybe your children are better with someone else while you get help? Do you want some help with placement or would you like a list of therapists near you? OR even a good parenting class to attend for simple minded people like you? I can definitely get you one.. ya know if you ever decide you wanna give your children a shot at life : ) they might be in danger with a person like you “raising” them. You sound like the mother in the video 😂

[ the mom probably just wishes for her daughter to be healthy and happy and express herself freely. She, bein from asian-descent, may wanna keep face more than anything. She has the right to silence. My mom was like that and she did not do any thing wrong by doing this. It can save a person some trouble, but can also get one in trouble, if being incapable to speak up, when necessary. It seems that the situation is complex and as a person, who is cognicent of the ongoings from a few sentences, as in this youtube video, impossible to say what is to be done. One thing must be mentioned in my opinion, that is: everything that has a front has a back. The girl could one day teach others bout her mistakes. I am not really getting to a point. I just think, that in this time and age, where technology plays a huge part in our daily-lives, it is becoming very difficult to guide a child well. If you never go wrong, you'll never know the right way either. I believe, that even though to the outside, the mom may seem indifferent, she loves her daughter in her thoughts and only wants the best for her. ]
