Video suggestion: how about one on the psoas muscles/kidney area, or thereabouts? My husband had lumbar fusion surgery years ago (two rods and 6 screws) and often complains of pain in this area on one side, which may not be muscular, but worth a try. Surgeon went back in and removed some hardware on that side, but it didn't relieve the pain. Thank you.

What can I do when I have pain down in the cervical spine at the point between the seventh cervical vertebrae, and the first thoracic vertebrae. It’s like they are hanging together and the pain is on the right side of the neck and the base of the cervical spine to the shoulder.

I had a cervical spine fusion in 2003 a level three- my 5,6,7.I can’t put my chin in my chest very easily, but I can do everything else. I occasionally get really stiff weird muscle spasms in my neck. I’m sure it relates to that. These have helped greatly! Thank you so much!

I greatly appreciate the exercises that you describe so clearly. I have had degenerative cervical spine issues for many years and yet am still very active, exercise consistently, etc. Is there a way (without having an MRI) to determine if the pain is related to a herniated disc or spine issue as compared to a pulled muscle. Some days after playing pickleball or riding my bike too far I will wake up with a neck that can barely move and the pain is right at the base of the skull, usually slightly to the right. I have had neck injury in the past and undergone MRI and physical therapy several years ago and it just showed mild degenerative disc disease in C4-C6. The physical therapy definitely helped but right now it is not an option due to transition of insurances. So my question is: How do symptoms of a herniated disc differ form a pulled neck muscle? And would the exercises differ as well? Thank-you for these great, informative videos!

I have this and I've been using these exercises but it still is tight. It never releases. What causes this to stay tense? I have the same problem for the trapezius shoulder muscles. This is causing intense nerve pain down my right shoulder. I've had my 4th, 5,6 and 8th vertebrae fused 8 years ago for pain down my left arm. Now I'm getting it down my right arm.

Great video. But your first exercise causes a bad spasm only on the left side of my neck! Six years ago, I had brain surgery to successfully remove a beenign brain tumour on the left side, just above my ear in doing some of the exercises. Why and what to do. The seasons stop me doing sone of these exercises. Tks
