The reports in fiber Menace have been proven but nothing you say about fixing gut health has been proven and in fact has been reported as untrue by the health authorities. That's why your audience is full of people who already have been eating in this way as it is basically the same nonsense that they were told 60 years ago.

I tried a plant based diet. I was miserable, bloated, and fatigued. I tried a ketovore diet and did really well on that. I don't believe there's a one size fits all diet.

I agree!! Vegan made me SICK , weak and made my hair fall out Keto didn’t make me bloated, but it made me constipated, full of energy, but also made my hair fall out as well Daniel diet was okay, didn’t do much for me though It’s really personal based off of your body , dietary needs and conditions that you personally struggle with! I have horrible IBS, and I don’t have a gall bladder. I also react to certain things like dairy, turkey , gluten, and many other ingredients / food groups. Carbs may make a lot of people filled with energy but I immediately crash as soon as I eat them. And get sooo bloated. Organic chicken and ground turkey work for many but again, for some reason I get SO sick especially with turkey!! Whether it’s deli, breast, ground, etc

Funny, my situation is reverse. I did low carb, lots of meat and non starchy carbs. By the fourth week, I was so tired, fatigued, constipated, bloated, gained a little weight, my mind cloudy and skin was bad. I went plant based after fourth week with rice/multiple vegetable side dishes everyday, and occasional meat/seafood and all of those symptoms went away by day two. One size definitely don't fit all.

Thank you so much. I was on Penicillin VK from 13 to 21.. I think it messed with my GI tract.. I have IBS (diagnosis of exclusion). Also food intolerances inherited from both parents, and peristalsis issues from mom’s side..! I’m intolerant to citric acid, oh man… it’s in EVERYTHING :-( My worst worst things are broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, egg white. If I eat these things my gut stops moving for 4 days, then suddenly starts again. Oh man, you wanna be near a loo when that happens! If I eat too many things that my gut doesn’t like (say… an avo, an orange and some chickpeas all in the same day), my gut goes CRAZY, I have diarrhea for 3 months. I’ve been encouraged once again to try and sort this out…

Dairy Products and Gluten in wheat and Things high in sugar makes your gut alot worst if you cut down on alot of Theases Things you will find that you have got alot more energy and better brain function and feeling less Stressed The doctor in This vidio makes alot of sense alot of People when They visit Their doctor with depression it might not be depression it could be That They just need to improve Their gut health by cuting down on certain foods and improving the gut fibre is well none for improving Gut health it's not just fruit that's got fibre in Theirs many more things like Gluten free cereals and more. Some of Thease doctors that you visit when you need to see Them They never mention Gut health.

Alot of Theases Doctors Their following The Goverment Guidelines they will only Tell you certain Things I wouldn't follow what I read from Theases Doctors People need to Think for Their self's sometimes. Since I have cut down on wheat dairy and high suger and improve my Gut health I feel so much better. To improve your Gut you have to cut down on Thease foods then Take things to improve your Gut. If you are still eating alot of Theases foods at the same Time it will not work. You have to cut down on Them then Take things to heal the gut.

You make learning FUN!!! Just subscribed and liked!!! Love you, your personality, your humor. Everything!!! Your hilarious and I can actually get into what your saying. You took the “boring” out of the learning process by making these types of videos. Thanks!!! I know I really appreciate it!!! And, I’m sure everybody else here would agree with me that you make learning a lot more fun. I even shared your video to my text messages so I don’t forget about your channel and so I can find my way back to your videos lol. I have severe ADHD, OCD (at times), and severe depression and anxiety. I remember my Dr. had me on antibiotics for over a year because he kept telling me that the infection hadn’t gone away in my leg. I had cellulitis in my left leg at the time. But, anyways, he finally took me off of it. And, then, I developed thrust. He gave me some medicine to kill off the overgrowth of yeast. And, right after taking the anti-yeast medication, I had like seriously laser like focus. I have never been able to think that clearly!!! But, anyways, make a long story short, my doctor that I used to have (worst doctor I’ve ever had and just wish I would have realized that sooner, but I wasn’t all that old when this happened) told me when I asked him about diet and that medicine, “it doesn’t matter what you eat because that medication will kill off the yeast and that’s not dependent upon your diet or anything else. Eat what you want. Just eat healthy!!!” Horrible doctor!!! I had zero knowledge about the human body back then or what to do to keep it healthy and thriving. Still learning!!! I don’t think we should ever quit. Anyways, hope you have an awesome day and I’m sorry for such a long post. Didn’t realize just how long of a post it was till just now.

I would suggest baking soda and water before bed and as soon as you have this feeling. And then of course what this doctor says. It's only going to get worse if you don't start going towards a plant based diet. I was a farmer that raised, killed and sold animals for a living. I thought I was doing the right thing. I could not kill any longer and just grew microgreens after becoming a vegetarian and then vegan. I'm the weight I was at 17 and feel awesome now at 55. What a learning curve to have to go through but well, well worth it. My gut and heart do not hurt any more. Talk about feeling free!!!! Hugs:)

Been eating plant based since 2015 and started getting gut issues 2 years back. Started with lose stools and mild pain, then migraines, and even wheezing. I started intermittent fasting last june and the wheezing stopped, migraines are rare now, but I started getting fatigue and pains all over my gut after eating around september. I added fermented foods, and even did a two week elemental diet in december, the fatigue is gone, but still having issues with pains and gas, and the only time I feel OK is when I haven't eaten for 16 hours or more. I occasionally notice an itchy bum, so I'm thinking there's an allergy to something. I've done a parasite cleanse, and garlic and oregano oil before the elemental diet. I completely avoid oils and sugar, I eat lots of nuts, seeds, gluten free grains, greens, and do smoothies every day. I feel like I'm doing everything right, but nothing is working. Considering doing one meal a day to cut out certain foods to see if I can pinpoint any allergies or intolerances.. Any more tips??

Visit your doctor and test your blood(maybe u have low hemoglobins). With that diet more likely have some deficiencies of vitamins, minerals, micro elements even amino acids. Also as I see your diet is rich on fibber and that could affect your digestion.

@@yagomiotto7164 thanks for the reply. I’ve already had blood tests, and they said everything was fine. You’re right that there’s a lot of fiber, and it did take me 6 months to get used to it back in 2015, but things settled down as you’ll find with most people who suddenly make the switch from a fiber deficient western diet. I’m curious to what makes you think a nutrient rich diet would cause deficiencies? The only nutrients plants based eaters tend to be deficient in is b12 and iodine, but that’s not because the diet is bad, it’s because of over farming which had depleted the soil of iodine, and we lack b12 because of modern day cleanliness. I supplement both of these by the way. Adding a piece of meat every day won’t make much difference to anything, in fact you’d be replacing something else, so one could be worse off. I also eat a wide range of proteins including hemp seeds which have a complete amino acid profile. Since my comment I’ve cut out my 30g daily serving of walnuts as I suspected an allergy, and I’ve experienced no bloating, and the pain has resolved. It’s too early to say whether this will continue as I have had good days with no problems before so I’ll keep this updated.

What do you mean by "plant based"; do you mean vegetarian or any food labeled as "plant based", but is a processed food? I would pray for your solution. GOD gave us every good food to eat, fresh vegetables, fruits, grains, etc... and then also meat and fish. GOD made us and our whole body, HE knows what's good for us naturally and provided it. This past century our natural food and water sources have become corrupted and contaminated by big production companies/ factory farms and water pollution. Modern medicine prescribes synthetic medication that has side effects. Pesticides are used and many foods have been genetically modified (gmo). Bottom line is only GOD and HIS SON JESUS can heal us and undo the damage that's been caused to our health collectively. Seeking, praying, eating clean organic naturally grown foods, not processed, clean unprocessed meats/ wild caught fish for those who choose them, and daily exercise to get our blood circulating and healthy lymphatic system and all around health. I've had problems recently myself and trying to figure it out is exhausting and frustration because there's so many recommendations, but then contradictions about what works. Anyway, I now realize GOD our CREATOR is the only way and HE is REAL to help us, get back to HIM and real living fresh food. Hope the best for you and all.

If you have leaky gut you can't eat fruits and vegetables, you need to start with carnivore and organic home made bone broths to allow your tight junctions to heal while also incorporating intermittent fasting for testing periods, then slowly introducing after a week of no symptoms 1 food at a time in a small amount and if any symptoms return you can't have that food, and move onto the next, we need to have organic fruits and vegetables as the pesticides cause intestinal permeability.

Now I see the 4th item on the list is artificial sweeteners😭 This makes so much sense bc I have been using Torani Zero Sugar syrups which has Sucralose in my iced coffees at home for over a year now thinking it was going to help me loose weight but really it just created a circle of fat around my belly..

Sorry, I dunno if what you say is accurately sound, I was vegetarian for about 7 years and that's when my gut problems began, super sensitive, major gas issues and constipation, etc. I now can't walk around the block without having major 'gas' issues, overwhelming bloating, burping with discomforts that are almost intolerable at time. I changed my diet to more 'fatty' animal foods and that helped a lot, but now my gut is such a mess, I'm looking online for possible HELP and that alone is disturbing.

I thought cabbage etc aren't good for SIBO; another doctor said a carnivore diet helps starve the bad microbes as microbes need carbs. And you said to eat all food groups but I thought drinking milk, if intolerant to it, would increase inflammation. I'm really confused now. There seems to be conflicting reports and experiences, not sure what's best, maybe what works for some doesn't for others, maybe we just need to experiment and see what's best for us as an individual. Could meat be good if the issue is of intestinal parasites?

love how you say Kombucha doc, never heard it said like that hehe - Overall great vid, the fermented group is what I think a lot of western diets lack the right amount of. There's just not enough Sauerkraut on the menu. Between that, at least 8 oz of kefir and a serving of "Koombatcha" (7:17) per day done diligently for 2 weeks will turn many people's whole head around. There's a recent discovery that the gut bacteria that we maintain is identical to bacteria we'll find in our brains. You literally are what you eat. Therefore, eat well and balanced, and you may find that you'll feel that way both physically and mentally. A lot of studies are emerging with the idea that depression and anxiety can be attacked effectively by changing diet alone. Success rate higher than any pill. The good Poop Dr. here is showing the same dietary blueprint that is suggested in these studies. So many people have had their lifestyles shifted, crushed, malformed through the pandemic and some of that is probably our diets as well. I hope everyone that sees this video considers this in reflection and does what they can to make their lives the best! ❤ from Detroit!

Hello, I have a question please, I had a colon recession of about 10 inches of my sigmoid removed due to a golf size ball of endometriosis forming on and in it. The surgery went well and was told I would return to normal in about 3 months. However, this was 19months ago, and my digestion has become horrible. I am restricted to about 4 items of bland food so I don't have pain, gas, or stabbing pain that lasts for 24 hours if I go astray from these 4 items. I have had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and test to check my gallbladder. I am very thankful everything was good, but I am starving and have lost about 10 pounds in the last 8 months. My GI doesn't seem to know, Could this be a lifelong problem since my colon resection? By the way, I am taking a probiotic pill and drinking celery juice every day too. am 49 years old, my weight is 122lbs, and physically fine, but I can't eat without pain. Do you have any ideas? Thank you so much for taking the time to read.
