The lakers score plenty of points with lebron and AD on the floor. It’s just their defense gives up way too many. AD always does plenty good on defense, so is this a lebron problem? Is lebron hurting their defense somehow? He’s as big, strong, and fast as anyone else, so is it a lack of effort? Or was this Celtics game just a fluke? You make a good point; so here is my perspective: LeBron and AD need to start the 2nd quarter and let starters that played against the Celtics begin the game like that, no need to do half court setup, run the ball to out hustle your opponent, I think if they do that, they have a better chance of making it to the playoffs and earning a spot in the western conference finals...

Love bron. He is my goat...But I must say, his defensive effort and placements on defensive plays(just hovering near rim trying to get easy rebounds/ball watching at times) is what costs the lakers and throws the team dynamic. HE needs to step it up on defense or play lesser minutes to allow coach ham to do his thing and get the youngster some minutes and familiarity winning together. The whole subbing yourself in/out a game has always been an odd thing to me. Undermines the coach's ability to see out his strategy. He constantly needs to adjust to Bron and AD's whims on court
