Drug dealer in Yellow Dodge Challenger is greeted by the Arkansas State Police 💸cash seized

Trooper's Report: On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at about 0810 hrs. I was patrolling the area of Scott Hamilton Rd. and Baseline Rd. I observed a yellow Dodge Challenger bearing AR tags, 10DPT. The vehicle was driving southbound on Scott Hamilton Rd. in the left lane approaching Baseline Rd. The vehicle Changed lanes from the left lane to the right lane, without using a turn signal. I got behind the vehicle and began to monitor the driver's behavior. The vehicle continued driving southbound through the intersection of Scott Hamiton Rd and Baseline Rd, onto Hilaro Springs Rd. While driving on Hilaro Springs Rd. the vehicle crossed the double-yellow center line multiple times. I attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle at Hilaro Springs Rd. and Pinecone Rd. The vehicle turned onto Pinecone Rd. and continued driving at low speeds for about 100 yards before coming to a stop. I gave the driver, Aaron Sadler verbal commands through my unit's P.A. system to place the vehicle in park and turn it off. Sadler refused all of my commands and began to flee from the traffic stop, driving westbound on Pinecone Rd. towards a school bus that was stopped on Pinecone Rd, loading children. I conducted a T.V.I. (Tactical Vehicle Intervention) on the vehicle at Pinecone Rd and Ithica Dr. This caused the vehicle to turn around and begin driving eastbound on Pinecone Rd. The vehicle drove through the yard of the residence at 3909 Pinecone Rd. causing damage to the lawn. The vehicle turned southbound onto Hilaro Springs Rd, driving in the northbound lanes of traffic. I conducted a second T.V.I. causing the vehicle to rotate clockwise, I kept contact with the vehicle pushing it into the ditch on the right side of the southbound traffic lane. Both the suspect’s vehicle and my patrol unit came to rest in the ditch on the right side of Hilaro Springs Rd. The suspect's vehicle broke the Perez Body Shop business sign before coming to final rest. After coming to a stop Sadler got out of his vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, carrying a large backpack with him. I quickly apprehended Sadler and took him into custody. After searching Sadler’s vehicle and backpack I located a cardboard box in the rear floor of the vehicle containing nine (9) plastic bottles of Promethazine. In the backpack, I located multiple plastic bags containing just over four (4) LBs of marijuana, twenty-four (24) plastic packets containing THC gushers, and one (1) plastic bottle of Promethazine. I located three thousand seven hundred and twenty dollars ($3720) in cash in Sadlers left front pocket. Sadler was transported to Pulaski County Jail where he was booked and charged with: 5-64-436 Possession W/Purpose to Deliver Sch. VI (Marijuana) 20-64-311 Possession of Prohibited Depression (Promethazine) 5-54-125 Fleeing (in a vehicle) 27-50-308 Reckless Driving 5-38-203 Criminal Mischief 1st 5-73-102 Possession of Instrument of Crime 27-51-403 Improper Turn Signal 27-22-104 No Insurance JHook Towing responded to the location and towed Sadler's vehicle to the JHook Towing lot. McCloyen was given a copy of the incident number regarding the damage to her lawn, Perez was also given a copy of the incident number for damage to his business sign. The cash located on Sadler’s person was seized and deposited into the ASP seizer account. All of the drugs located in the vehicle and the backpack were stored in the Troop A evidence vault to be submitted to the state crime lab for testing.

I’m in CA… They are not aggressive here AT ALL. CHP will chase people for hundreds and hundreds of miles, doing nothing to stop it. Occasionally they will do a PIT, but they are not allowed to do them at anything over about 35-40MPH. They pretty much wait for the suspect to run out of gas.

Back in the 70s when I was a dumb young vet that had disabled license plates on my car I was driving back home to the Midwest. I had been visiting another vet I served with who lived in Texas. I pulled into a rest area and smoked a joint with my a/c on so not to let the smell get out of the car. After I was done I put eye drops in to make sure my eyes weren’t red. I had a quarter pond stuffed in my pants I had bought in Texas. I lit up a cigar and away I went back on the freeway. I got pulled over about 30 minutes later for 8 mph over. Cop looked like he was looking for someone to bust and real cocky. He told he wouldn’t give me a ticket if he could search my car. I told him no problem and he looked everywhere. Inside in trunk under my car and even engine bay. I knew he wanted to pat me down but I was sure he wouldn’t push his luck because my military disability and I played innocent veteran. He let me go it I could tell by the way he looked at me as I drove away he knew I was dirty but didn’t dare push the subject because if he would have found nothing on me I could file charges for harassment of a disabled Vietnam vet. I married the right women and gave my wild side up. My wife and I have been married fifty years and still going strong.

True. It’s IRS (Independent Rear Suspension). When the cop hit the left side, it messed up the toe angle of that wheel. That left rear wheel now wanted to go a bit left all of the time. Rear “toe out” is NOT good for straight line stability, which is why the driver was having so much trouble keeping it straight.

That's always been a habit for me. Not that I've been pulled over many times (maybe ~3 tops). But I always pull over, roll the window down, turn the vehicle off and pull the keys out of the ignition and sit them to the side. Live in Arkansas (Hot Springs) as well lol (have since I was ~5,. 34 now). Of the ~3 times 2 were by ASP. And they were extremely nice. One of those times they could have towed the vehicle and completely rightfully so. It was my Dads' work truck at the time. It had Canadian plates which I'm sure attracted attention. I didn't realize I was speeding (~10 over and that doesn't excuse it I know) but that's what got me pulled over. But the important thing was, because it was my dad's work truck, I wasn't covered to drive it at all insurance wise. The officer was EXTREMELY kind and told me "Watch your speed and drive straight home" and that was it.

His rear axle was toast after that hit that put him into the yard. Once he gets back out on the road, you can see the driver side rear wheel is facing out with almost a sort of camber to it. He was never getting far after that second hit
