I'm right handed, but left footed. Is there a way that I can set up my kit so it's configured as Righty on the upper part of the kit, but the pedals are set as lefty?

You could mirror the kickdrum and hi-hat, but you will need a cable hi-hat for that.

Nilton Jimenez Thanks! Yes that's completely OK! Drummers tend to set their kits up either left-sided or right-sided, based on their leading (strong) hand. There are no set rules though, some guys lead with their right hand on a left-sided kit and vice versa, this is often referred to as playing "open-handed".

In this video it's one single speed cobra pedal per kick drum. I have previously used the 1st generation mapex falcon double pedal, as well as some iron cobras in the past.

Mk #Ferrari_430 Awesome, thanks! That pedal is connected to the Yamaha drumpad, and works as an electronic foot trigger. Very cool, I have a lot of sound options for that, but haven't really used it in a cover yet!
