Thanks Frank! I am really happy how this one turned out; both sonically & visually. Usually I am not too happy with the video editing but this one I liked.

How drummers can move all of their limbs independently is beyond my comprehension 😅 awesome cover - the best I've seen 😁

Dominik, thanks for the comment and taking the time to watch my video. I feel the same way about guitar players. How they can move their fingers on the fret board easily and pluck the right strings that are (to be at least) too close together. Just like with anything, it's years of practice. I've been playing for almost 40 years and I still have way too much to learn. But I keep trying... thanks again and I hope your enjoy some of my other videos. ✌️🤘

Technically, you guys bought me a cheap Toys R' Us drum set 2 years before then, but who's counting. 🤣 You introduced me to so much great music, took me to amazing concerts as a kid, and always supported me in my drum playing; even to this day at the age of 45! I love you guys! 🙏🥰

Thanks a ton Mike! If this was an original song, I'm sure my tempo would be all over the place 🤣😂. Because I am following a pre-recorded song, to me, it's much easier to follow tempo. 🤷♂️. Hope you & the family are doing well. Looking forward to seeing some more videos from you. Side note, have you downloaded any of my SD3 projects from my website? Like to know if it works ok from users who grab them.

Great job! I play an Alesis Strike Pro SE. I'm kind of new to the hybrid kits. My major complaint is the lack of cymbal expansion, but you have cymbals galore. How do you do it?
@RedGearMusic Жыл бұрын
The Roland TD-30 module has 4 auxiliary dual-zone ports for expansions. I then use specific drum splitters designed for Roland modules to separate the zones which give me the ability to extend my kit further. I found I never used the dual zone functionality with my crash cymbals, so this worked better for me. Appreciate the question and for checking out my video. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment, TheHaos! While I still am not a huge Volbeat fan, there are a couple tracks that I do like of theirs. I am not sure if I will cover that Ghost song or not. I have this huge list of songs I want to cover first, along with the big project I've been working on, I just don't know if I will have the time. In fact, I might have to do a couple Ghost "re-visit" covers to make them right just so I got some easy ones for a couple months. Appreciate the support!

Were there any mistakes in this performance? To me, strictly as a guitarist, everything looked and sounded perfect but the person tracking it will usually point out mistakes they made. Awesome as always man!
@RedGearMusic2 жыл бұрын
Man, there are ALWAYS mistakes in my performance. Usually, they are so small that I tend not to care. However, with my covers I do try to be as close to accurate as possible so that people can see how the song is actually played. Drum fills are typically where the mistakes are because it's hard to know exactly how it was originally played and I am just going by ear and doing my own version of it. Looking forward to hearing what you got coming up in the future! 🙃 Appreciate the support Adam!
