Snare: Medium-low tuning. I don’t measure the pitch, but it’s a low rattly indie style tuning. I think the Tama Carbon 30-strand makes the sound.
Toms: Low and even. Basically as low as they can be tuned without sounding like a paper bag.

Great drumming mate! I have a question if I may: I still have to learn how to do hihat splashing. I see you do it throughout the entire song. Is this something you even think about or it just happens naturally? I did see you double the speed of the splashes a few times, was that intentional? And is it true that a few times they were not on the beat, like around 2:00 ? Not as a comment, I'm just curious :)

Hey Roel, thanks, man. I appreciate it. More than hihat splashing, I'm really just keeping time with my left foot. Sometimes I splash it, but for the most part, I'm just keeping time and it's an old habit from being in the marching and concert band during my school years. Most of the time I'm doing it subconsciously and tend to switch it up depending on what other rhythms I'm playing elsewhere. Regarding around 2:00, I think I was doing it on the "and" (1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and) of the beat and so it looks like it's off. Either way, it wasn't intentional, just natural right there. To learn it, I would just practice keeping quarter notes going on the hihat while you're playing and then start experimenting with strategically placing them throughout the song. Anyhow, I hope that makes sense and is helpful.
