Amazing interpretation and technique!!! The details are so appreciated... from the triggers and the tuning of the drums to the crispness of the entire performance. Many drummers muddy up their efforts to mask their shortcomings. You swung for the fences. I also love the way you captured the progressions of his solos. I always felt giddy at every new tour to see what Neil would keep or alter from his previous solos. I caught nine tours from Grace Under Pressure to R40. The solos were always mesmerizing. I have so much respect for your obvious perseverance to do his work justice. Rock on!!!

Ho WoW ! What’s a beautiful comment and appreciation. You catch my perspective and arrangement, it was in a context to play a drum solo «Anthology » of the best moments of his carreer . Many’s old School phrase and pattern are in show of hand drum solo . Like a musician actor my job was to catch the spirit …. :) A new version are in process now with my new band Trilogy . I'm really happy to be playing this solo again , in January 20th in Quebec area .
@cyberbri68992 жыл бұрын
WOW!! Great job!! For the most part you nailed every part of Neil's solo which is a huge feat!! I remember way back to when I was in Highschool in jazz band I'd put little pieces of Neil's solo in solos or drum breaks and one time I made our music teacher supper mad because I snuck cowbells on my kit and I attempted to play the cowbell part of Neil's solo and went totally off script of what the music teacher wanted my solo to be but to humor myself I just had to do it and to this day I'm so glad I did LOL!! Again, great job to pay tribute to Neil!! I have never attempted to play his whole solo; I wouldn't be able to remember all the parts and to put them in order like you did. Thanks for sharing!!
@patjean80382 жыл бұрын
If i would be able to go back and replay the part in 3/4 , boom cha cha bomm cha cha …. t will be better of course. It’s tough to memories , you play live in front of 500 peoples . But it was only the third Time I’d play live . But yes of course a lot of repetition in there. It took ten years to realize this dream .
