Caleb’s play just brings me joy every time I see it. I enjoy the Slipknot stuff he does, but I love Sleep Token. II’s playing is so groovy and filled with different time signatures. He really nails that aspect.

That kid has grown so much in his drumming! Been following him for four years by now. He can be proud of himself. He's becoming one heck of a great drummer! That and I love the way he smiles at the camera after he did something awesome. He looks so darn happy!

I would recommend watching II the drummer from Sleep Token on Drumeo. Caleb is very accurate in how it was played live. That kid is something else and Sleep Token is a great band, you should take a deep dive into their work. II (the drummer) is one of the best technical drummers I have seen in years.

New generations drummers are very lucky us old generations needed to buy a 40dollers vhs video to see a up close drummers playing because u learn alot by seeing them playing and drum sets. were expensive those days but I love it seeing young drummers doing what it took us ten years to learn or more

People fail to understand that when you start very young, and practice for 8 hours a day everyday so basically a third of your day, if you started a 6 years old, by the age of 9 you will have almost 9000 hours of practice, How can you not get good? Even the most untalented player would show some significant improvement. When I was his age I was able to play drums immediately as in I had the coordination to play songs, I started much later in life because my family didn’t have the means to support my drumming so I had to wait until I could save the money myself. With these YT kids is different when they get all the support. Not only drums but GOOD drums not the POS I had when I started. I am not denying the kids talent. I am just saying he has support that we didn’t have. But talent is talent you have it or you don’t, sorry EL Estepario you are wrong, some of us have natural talent but, most people have to work harder to achieve the same thing. This kid is the combination of both natural talent and hard work but also a great support system. He will be a world class drummer pretty soon.

My god this kid is insane, I can't believe he doesn't have way more subs so I'm gonna throw myself in on that ! Btw idk if anyone is throwing this suggestion at you in PayPal or Patreon but since you started with Pantera and loving the groove in their metal, the song that caught me groove wise was psycho holiday from the cowboys from hell album. No idea if there's a good drum cam of it but it's worth a listen if nothing else 👍😂 This kids drumming is wild, his cymbal work is mindblowing !!

How about settling it once in for all - gear is like running shoes. At great performances it gets you the extra bit of what you need, a few point oh seconds you need for a world record, for tweaking the snare tone to there or there how you want it to sound and for what type of hits and with what type of band or performance. That said, it counts only from certain solid levels of performance, otherwise it's more of decoration.
