Jesus Christ!! I love this so much. In my late 20’s I used to get kind of jealous over the fact that kids growing up after me had access to KZbin where endless hours of free music instruction could be found on demand. Growing up poor with a natural “talent” but parent/family had no money for lessons and few “mentors” or teachers, all had to be learned by ear or in very technical practice booklets or cd’s. It made it so hard to get to such a high level of playing at such a young age. Now, I stopped being a bitch about it and realized that kids like this are taking the game to new levels and beyond so quickly-music will be forever changed for the better. The idea that every style and technique from all over the world is now clashing and evolving together into more than we could ever imagine is making me optimistic. Thank you young ones, for showing an older person that there is so much hope for this art form and for future generations to come.

What about the many generations who never had cell phones? Hippies still happened, goth, punk, grunge. Sometimes people succeed in other ways, not just by being some prodigy.
@kimwang82154 ай бұрын
Well, although I also think that children are having way too much screen time these days, that issue is not connected to the displayed talent here. It's just a one in hundred years prodigiy-child here humbly showing what's happening if you nurture a god given gift with hard work.

You mean the potential of children who have a drum kit available to play on. Quit tearing down other children to lift others up. It's an ugly trait.

Most of them will probably never be as good as you are now at the age of 9. Keep rocking. 🤘 The Sleep Token cover is a gift to everyone who sees it.❤ P.S.: Don't take negative comments (especially on Instagram) to heart.
