Drummergirl4theking I agree! Have you found anything by Remo that sounds close to the stock Ludwig head? I'm thinking it's an Ambassador but not sure.

Todd B I thought the stick head sucked... I use a Evans genera dry with the holes and it’s great. Try that head it’s the best snare head I’ve ever used

I'd love to know what kick drum that is (manufacturer, range, diameter, depth), what heads are on it, and how it's tuned, because it sounds absolutely brilliant. The floor tom sounds nice too.

No these are made overseas, but that certainly doesn't mean they aren't great drums; because they are!

Is the 402 really that superior of a drum for costing 250 more than this, or is it just that it's made in the USA? Can somebody answer this objectively because I can't decide between this and the Supraphonic 402

The Supra isn't steel, it's chrome plated aluminum. The best thing to do is just listen to both and trust your ears.

You could always install one, but they do not ship that way from the factory.

Is it safe to say that the stock ludwig head on this drum files into the medium thickness ( and not ambassador weight ? I'm sold on the idea of the drum. Every clip I've heard sounds so thin. In comparison to say the Pearl Sensitone ( Steel ) clip you have up.

Excuse me Drum Center gentleman, But what are you using to record this demo? Also I was thinking of grabbing a "Zoom Q4" camcorder for live demos as they seem to be getting good reviews and priced rightely. So any thoughts on that also much appreciated. Great demos BTW from your shop.
