You are right about the old houses. This area is built upon shifting "sand"

Yes, most of the houses have issues with basements here

Born and raised in the Great Flatlands of Canada - Nice to see some of your fine editing tours. Back in the earlier 70's stopped here a couple of times and once in Brooks/Fuel line filter gave up the ghost. Sweet memories👍 - 👍

Thank you for stopping by. Brooks is small town that has grown so much since the 70s.

Thanks for the tour of my old home town. I lived about 15 klm east in the village of Rosedale. My dad gave up mining in 1957 when we packed up and moved to better pickings in Calgary. I haven’t visited the Valley since 2000, but I still love the valley and the unique hills that give one a picture of history in the different lays of strata seen throughout the valley. I see nothing much has changed. Drumheller has been in decline since the coal mines quit in the 50’s,and early 60’s. Other than tourism and the penitentiary, there is not much of anything to bring people to the area today.

No problem! Thanks for stopping by. The Valley doesnt really change all that much. People used to move here because it was super cheap living - but not anymore. I am going to be doing a few more vids in the area - one on Rosedale, and another of East Coulee. Thanks again!
