I just looked it up: Aurora was born in 1996….so the last year for millennials. I think partially the reasons that Aurora can be so free spirited and creative is that 1) born with amazing creative talent 2) lived in a place where she could spend her free time walking in the forest….being one with nature and her thoughts. Most young people now have never set foot in a forest or experienced Nature. Believe it or not, that makes a huge difference in the human psyche.
@L33ReactsАй бұрын
I grew up on a farm in the woods and spent many a days walking in the woods and playing games by myself. I was an only child and my mom had a barn with horses. It was very beneficial to my mindset. I know what life is at its simplest moments. And that there is so much more to life then what we experience in our waking lives. I saw some unexplained things out there in the deep woods too. We don’t know as much as we think we do (we being humans lol)🤔
@helenespaulding7562Ай бұрын
@@L33Reacts absolutely right! Many things beyond our ken and it’s arrogant to think otherwise, imo. I was also an only child. Spent time playing in near cattails and caves in huge blackberry bushes. Lots of forest time too. Now, young people have forgotten how to play because of over-protective parents and too much indoor screen time. Scientists are just seeing the results now and they are horrible: free play is a necessary part of wiring the brain in young mammals, including humans. Lack of it is damaging to developing minds. You’re right: you and Gen Z were unintended test subjects for a paradigm -shifting technology, and the effects are just manifesting themselves. And they are not good. Keep your kids away from social media until they’re 16 at least. Especially girls. That’s what the growing consensus is now.
@L33ReactsАй бұрын
@@helenespaulding7562 MySpace and Facebook were just the precursors to the monsters that we have now. I can’t even look at my social media because if I’m honest (like usual) it’s all my high school and college friends that were girls basically naked and begging people to buy their only fans. It’s just ads and scams on Facebook. TikTok is a literal spying device AND a brain rot inducing unfeeling machine. KZbin has things on it that are beneficial to humans (I hope) so I can argue for that. Twitter is just bots. What’s so social about social media? It’s just all of the worst aspects of humanity focused and spread throughout the entire globe. It’s honestly kinda freaky if you think of the internet as all of us connected as one thing. Yet again technology trying to imitate nature and failing miserably. We are all one in a natural way, to begin with. Technology is just humanity trying to do what nature already does but under OUR control. Well, the government and giant multinational conglomerates. Woops.

Welcome to the warriors and weirdos! (Auroras fans). Dont worry about the tears and "rambling", we are used to it. Aurora will touch your heart and soul, as she did today. Trust me when I say: Auroras magic art (performances) has helped so many people! She has changed me, but I know she has been life changing for many. The hunt for "normal" and "perfect" is strange, because it does not exist! It is like trying to find the gold at the end of the Rainbow, it will move and you will ware yourself out trying. We look at others, their life (often on instagram or something) looks perfect! But is it? Do you see their demons? Nope! We are all "not normal", or uniq. No human are the same, not eaven identical twins! Aurora is a huge YOU BE YOU person, she is a warrior if love. I am VERY sure that you will have a fantastic journey into her Queendom if you continue listening with your heart and soul as you did today. Next I will recommend to you "the river". It is basically about letting your feelings out, dont bottle it up till it breaks you! Normally I recommend a live version, but the music video is so good: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmjPdmB9ZtR2aZYsi=gQ_kVnamE3ipxh_n

I knew of her (Norwegian), but early on wrote her off as just another pop artist. I'd registered she had very dedicated fans, and one day about 3 years ago I was checking bands before going to a metal festival. Scrolled past a reaction video, and decided to see what the big deal was. A bit of a shock. Listened to her a lot after that day, and seen her live several times. Very talented. Deep, meaningful lyrics, although they are not always the easiest to grasp. She's into metal (featured on the latest Bring Me The Horizon album) and techno (collaborates with Chemical Brothers) among other things. Incredible live artist.

How often do you hear low female contralto voices in popular music? Agree, they are rare. The "dramatic contralto" voice is a very rare gift. And how often do female contraltos have a range of 3 octaves? It's hard for me to remember even one name. And a dramatic contralto of 4 octaves? At 21 years old!? Such voices are born once in 100 years. But if you add to this the richest overtones that you have heard in women, which can only be compared with a male bass, a phenomenal ability to extract two or even more notes at once (lower plus upper register, polyphonic voice!? polyharmonic), phenomenal speed of switching registers, the most complex vocal techniques, including yodel. Meet Diana Ankudinova! And I want to see your surprised eyes and open mouths when you react to her!
