Your hunch is correct, Sorush's Purity is associated with a very lush and colorful desert oasis. In fact this, Her Wishes and Maidens of Sanctity are all related to oases. Nilou's theme, Lotus of Haftkarsvar, also has a strong oasis connection if you want to check it out.

You are almost right about the forest thing! The last few pieces have been from two oases deep in the desert, this one has been created from the power of three Goddesses: of Forests, of Flowers, and of Waters

I like how after people honed in on the style he likes they all just went "aight boys, sumeru desert it is". Now allow me to break from that and throw out "stories untold" and "mournful whisperings" from disc 1 of islands of the lost and forgotten. I just keep going back to that disc, the music really suits the desolation in seirai and the quiet strength of watatsumi

More character themes would be awesome! I feel like you'd love Dehya's character theme "Fiery Lioness"! I also highly recommend Cyno theme called "Order of Silence" and Faruzan's bop of a character theme called " Master of Ingenious Devices"!! I wonder if you'd also want to react to the character demos with more focus on the osts playing behind them. Always love when the music really showcases the character and how much you'd be able to get from just the ost alone >

Yeah, "Fiery Lioness" is great, but unfortunately, it hasn't been released as a standalone OST yet. So unless we convince Catharsis to watch Dehya's character demo with its animation and voice-over, we will have to wait 4-5 months until the The Stellar Moments Vol. 4 comes out.

correct, the picture is from other zone, that is actually a complete desert, with its own desert ruins music, but Sorush's Purity is from a part of the desert that is more an oasis combined with a not-dark swamp, is place entangled of new life of trees and plants in the desert

The Stellar Moments are albums with character themes from demos, that's why they are quite different. To me the BEST ones are absolutely Order of Silence and Rex Incognito. They slap even more with the demo playing, but they are so good standalone ❤

The nephrite of deshret is more on middle with one indian instrument Bansuri(indian flute) Duduk(Armenian flute) Oud(arabic guitar) Saz(Turkish) The music can sound different because of instrument used like in this for example it sound like middle east
