This is southern rock at it's finest. The flute solo at the beginning & end is great. Love their music from the 70's. Some of their other big hits were "Fire on the Mountain" & "Heard It in a Love Song". Southern rock fiddler Charlie Daniels did quite a few collaborations with them.

Great reaction! I love how the bass absolutely DRIVES this, and the drummer absolutely wears a hole in the bell of the ride cymbal. Just a terrific tune!

We saw the Marshall Tucker Band a couple of years ago in Biloxi, Miss. Doug Gray is the only surviving member of the original band. He was the one playing the tambourine in the video. He's put together a pretty damn good replacement band. They are still rocking after all of these years!

the late 1960s, four of the band members served in the US military; Toy Caldwell served in the Marine Corps and received a Purple Heart after being wounded in Vietnam. By the 1970s, Toy Caldwell and George McCorkle had returned to Spartanburg and the Toy Factory had resumed playing in area clubs. Rip Toy., Tommy

@@setonhillstudios You're for a whole lot more of us than that person would ever realize. I know there are a few people who ONLY want to see "first time" reactions. Personally, I don't care if someone has seen something 100 times, and then gets a request to react to it. If that reaction has never been shared before by that person, for that particular song, I say, "GO FOR IT!" Also, sometimes a person will think differently about a song after having seen it several times after the initial hearing of it. So why not do a "before and after" pair-up on the reaction. Also, like on this one, where you already knew the song, you didn't know the artists, there's still an element of surprise, if that's what people are looking for. I say, "Go, Seton Hill Studios!" You guys are super great! PS Edit... As Dan Vasc would say, "Don't mind the wimps!" That should make you curious about what video(s) (there's a very short one that goes after it) that connects to.

You’re doing a great job with these reactions. More Rush please, and some Styx too. Check out the live performance of The Garden by Rush from the Clockwork Angels tour. Last song on their final album. Very emotional and almost prophetic after Neil Peart’s passing. Can’t listen without shedding some tears.

@@setonhillstudios As far as Rush goes-I've been a fan for 40 plus years-so many great songs. If you haven't done it yet, Xanadu from the 1981 Exit...Stage Left tour, Time Stand Still, Red Barchetta, The Camera Eye, all amazing. Analog Kid live-Alex Lifeson's solo will blow your mind. Styx (my first concert in 1977 lol) also has so many incredible songs-Fooling Yourself/Angry Young Man, Suite Madame Blue, Crystal Ball, just to name a few. They are still touring-if they hit your area, go see them, you will not be disappointed.
