I need to correct Roger's recollection of his high school experience a bit. While we did participate in the Rose Parade twice and did get an invite to perform in Europe our freshman year, we couldn't raise the funds in our blue collar community and had to cancel our Europe trip. One thing that is never brought up is Roger's artistic ability. He did all the illustrations in our Junior High yearbook and loved drawing dragsters.
