Awesome playing man. I'm planning to buy an electric drum all my life have played acoustic drums. The real question is how bad it is that if your electric drum broken? Is it common? Or the repair price is high? Thanks
@janjensen32202 жыл бұрын
Usually the components last a very long time, but since they are mounted to a rack, they can be exchanged individually. The most expensive part would be the module. Also the modules function alike, it should also be possible to substitute individual parts of the set with different components. Also, unlike real drums however, there isn't really a big wear of the components. They tend to last forever, especially if you dont move it around all the time, and plug the stuff in and out thousands of times

@OutnBacker Жыл бұрын
S with all the kits I'ver been looking at, I have a question: Can the ride cymbal be tuned to sound like the massive rock rides of the 1970's. Especially the Zildjian Heavy Ping (think: early Carmine Appice and many others.) I'm looking for a ride sound that does not have the swell and decay of the mediums that are so prevalent today. The ping should cut through everything like the triangle at the back of an orchestra and not be swallowed by the cymbal' s secondary resonance.

It looks and sounds very similar to the Thomann Millenium MPS-850. Except for the red stripe. The Millenium doesn’t have a 12 "snare, but only a 10" snare, but it comes with a fully-fledged hi-hat machine. I dare to say that the Alesis comes from the same factory that also produces the MPS drum kits for Thomann. Only that the Millenium are much cheaper. In any case, the sounds sound exactly like the MPS-850, which I bought after a first try with an Alesis Command Kit.

Hello from Ukraine! Great video that helped me choose electronic drums! But I have such a problem: when I press the pedal to play a closed hat, not one sound (tss) is played, but two (tss-tss), one after the other. Not every pedal stroke, but often. Moreover, this happens more often if I press the pedal more slowly. This adds "dirt" to the sound. Such a "double actuation" of the trigger. I know it happens with electronic drums. The instructions for Yamaha even have a section on how such a problem can be eliminated. But in ALESIS CRIMSON II SE there are no such items in the menu. I went to a service center, a representative and I connected my pedal to the same kit - the same effect. Moreover, this is observed even on the COMMAND MESH KIT (younger). For a change, they put my pedal on COMMAND and a pedal from COMMAND on CRIMSON II - double action always jumps. So this is some kind of general software glitch? Do you faced such a glitch and how can you fix it?
