I do try to take good care of my skin and have recently started trying better products as I age. I love that you have dry skin like me so I find your skin care routines and reviews are greatly appreciated. Love all your knowledge. Hope to see more reviews like this.

+Stephanie Nicole Hi Nicole, is Sunday Riley's Good Genes treatment ideal for a 24 yr old as well as the Luna oil? I mainly have very dehydrated skin and would like to prevent any damage on my skin such as wrinkles or potential acne as quick as I can. Thank you for this amazing informative video!

Stephanie Nicole Hello Beautiful, I just purchased some 'Skin Rejuvenating Pads" by Dr. Jeannette Graf MD. she's on HSN and also has an office in NY. it says BHA on this product but I haven't been able to find where it reads the amount of BHA. I don't have the product yet, I ordered last week. but I've looked online and unable to find. I am 50 and just started 5 yrs ago taking better care of my skin. smh. Are you familiar with her hun? Thank you so VERY much for all you do for us. I have spread the word to my niece and daughters about you bc of you being so informative, your honesty, and blunt sense of humor. Lol. LOVE IT! Sincerely, Maddy

Jennifer Saha you should use the good genes first and then the oil. if you put the oil first then it won't let the good genes penetrate. I'm 22 as well with combo skin and I've been using good genes only when I need it. for example I'll use it everyday for a week if I'm getting break outs that week or if I'm trying to fade hyperpigmentation. sometimes I'll use it for a few weeks straight day and night if my skin really needs it.

I am SO glad I found your channel. The youtube beauty community has become a source of entertainment for me, and not so much a source for honest product reviews. Like many people, I do not give myself a huge budget for beauty, so when I spend 100$ or close to it on a product, I want it to be worth it. SO thank you! You are making all of us more informed consumers, in a space where there is seeming to be a lot of selling out going on!! Thanks again!

I truly feel you the most underrated KZbinr , when I came across your channel I was so surprised and happy to come across a woman whom A, is educated.. You do the homework, you're not bought out by these companies with crap products. B, you're established in your own career ( not living at your mothers and trying to get rich by lien to your viewers about products to make money.), you do this for to help woman with some back knowledge on products to help us make a decision on where to spend our money. I was just so presently surprised when I came across your channel and I haven't looked back! I don't have a lot of extra time I work a ton but when I have KZbin time I come to your channel even if to watch old videos! This is the first time I have ever "commented" on KZbin lol so idk if this will even go through, but In a nutshell you do great work and I am so grateful for your hard work and time and sacrificing your hard earned money to purchase products for the sake of review for

As I am trying to become more knowledgeable about skincare I always find myself coming back to your videos. I really appreciate how much information you provide that other beauty bloggers don't, you can tell that you take the time to research before giving out information. If I could find the equivalent to you but with oily skin to recommend products that would be a dream! Thanks for all that you do :)

Stephanie Nicole, I came across your channel tonight, so far this is my 4th video I have watched. I just want to thank you for putting ingredients into play when you are making these videos. As an esthetician, it makes me absolutely cringe watching some KZbinrs talk about product they know nothing about and suggesting it for everyone. I absolutely admire that you are reaching out to educate and give your honest opinion. It takes so much time to research and understand ingredients and I respect you so much for this. Kudos to you! You have earned a forever subsciber!

I bought the good genes (small flash fix size) based off of your recommendation as well as promising reviews. I am so grateful that I did! I struggle with problematic skin due to having discoid lupus. It has done a number on my already sensitive skin on my face. The sun has left me with scarring and spots and uneven skin texture regardless of how much I soak in SPF. The good genes is amazing! It literally smoothed my textured skin, not completely but dramatically in a couple of days. I will definitely be budgeting for the full size bottle along with the Luna night oil. I can not thank you enough for your channel, the time and information that you put into it has changed how I look at beauty products and skincare. Thank you a million times.

Sunday Riley recently had this special Christmas set which includes the Good Genes. I tried it and I was absolutely FLOORED by the results upon waking up. I kid you not when I say that all of the closed comedones on my face had gone down the following morning. My skin was so smooth, and I definitely had a “glow” about my skin. Fantastic product.

I have sensitive skin, and it used to be super sensitive with an extremely damaged skin barrier. When it was really bad, Good Genes would tingle a bit, but then it would be fine and my skin looked so much better. Now that my lipid barrier is healed, it doesn’t tingle at all. It just makes my skin look incredible! It’s amazing and it’s more than worth the price.

So happy to hear your opinion on this. Good Genes has made the biggest difference in my skin of any product I've ever used. 25 year old here. Almost 26. Started to get dullness in my skin that no amount of moisture/masking/toning was fixing. Originally tried physical exfoliants but found them far too irritating. Good Genes has really been revolutionary for my skincare routine. I actually prefer applying it during the day as I don't wear foundation on a daily basis and I like the slight pore filling I get from the silicone. I like to leave my evening routine for just soothing moisturizing products. The luna night oil is also lovely, but not quite as much of a revelation for me as Good Genes. There are a lot of facial oils that I enjoy.

Stephanie, I appreciate your videos and your willingness to share your vast knowledge in aesthetics. As an RN with several years experience in medical aesthetics I look for reviews that address the ingredients, their concentration and purpose. There are so many brands of skin care products ranging in price and efficacy.... this leads to confusion and for most an empty wallet as we try one product after another looking for that perfect serum, moisturizer, cleaner, toner..... your reviews help wade through the hype and get to the facts. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge, for being honest and for being REAL!

Great job! I own both, and depending on what I'm more after at the moment definitely will feel a difference. Drunk elephant actually is great for acne prone skin. Sunday Riley I really see a plumping effect and my overall skin texture and look is almost renewed when used properly. I always to to be consistent with my skin care to see optimal results. Yet my skin can handle switching up every now and again. You hit it out of the ball park with your comparisons from creators to claims! Great to have you back 😘👏🏼👍🏼

I love your videos and truly trust your advise and knowledge on skin care. I wondered what products you might recommend for combo skin to help with fine lines and wrinkles and reduce pore size. I am 40 and finally have really realized my skin care is important. I use the Drunk Elephant night serum and an oil but I feel like there is more I could be doing. thanks for all your information you give!

I have to say that this is an amazing review. I love the fact that you are open and honest about the fact that everyone's skin is different as opposed to saying that one product is the be all, end all. Thank you so much.

This was a most helpful video, Stephanie, thank you! I have been applying my framboos each night, with no stinging - because I haven't been shaking the bottle before application!! And the balling up - that had been happening too, with the application of the oil afterwards. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!

I just wanted to say that as an organic chemist, I really appreciate your strong understanding that everything is a chemical whether it's natural or not. It drives me crazy when people think "natural" means healthy. It all depends on the structure of the chemical or mixture of chemicals itself not where it comes from.

+Stephanie Nicole I had wanted to try Sunday Riley products for awhile, but they are pricey and I wasn't sure if it would help my specific needs. After watching your skin care videos I got them, and also quite a few of the other products you use. I'm now much more focused on my skin care, instead of just covering it up(which never looked good). It's only been a few weeks, but my skin is loving it. I can't even remember when my skin felt or looked this good. I've struggled with it for so long, but everything is so much better already. Even my adult acne is clearing up. I can't thank you enough for doing these videos!

I agree with everything you said. I love the Good Genes product. I don't mind the smell at all. I don't like perfume smells in skincare. I have noticed a huge difference with this product, and it makes my makeup go on so smoothly! I read Paula's Choice reviews too, and the customer reviews were extremely positive.

I'm an oily-skinned person in my 20's, and I love AHAs and BHAs for my routine. I use them to treat acne, reduce pore size, and to exfoliate my skin. I love your thorough review on these two products, and do have to say that the Elephant one appeals more to me due to the inclusion of the BHA, so I can get double duty out of my chemical exfoliator. I currently use the Paula's Choice Resist AHA/BHA, and I don't get any sort of burning sensation from that one.

I am dry and sensitive, but when I used Sunday Riley both good genes and Luna oil every night for 3 days. I broke out so bad that I had to strip down my skincare. But with the drunk elephant it works great. But I love Sunday Riley's C.E.O oil cleanser is amazing. Oh and you were so accurate, good genes, felt like I wanted to rip my skin off. Glad I found your channel.

This was SO helpful. I just recently started being heavy into skin care info because, while I have been blessed with some pretty good skin not prone to breakouts and not yet damaged, it won't stay like that forever. I discovered Paula's Choice a little less than a year ago and binged on her reviews and info, but I had wanted at least one other highly knowledgable skin care guru with whom to compare. I did not know about Caroline Hirons until just now, so I will be reading up on her and what she has to say. I'm sooo glad you made this video, you clearly have done your research and I feel I can use your reviews and opinion as another valid source of information so that I can make an informed decision. Keep up the good work!

Love your honest review and all the information you provide. You really do your homework :) I have over-used the Paula's Choice website and I have found that the products recommended have not always worked for me. That has been disappointing, but I realize not everything will work for everyone. So, I was so glad that you provided another resource I didn't know anything about with Caroline Hiron's site. So, thank you for such a great video! I will definitely be checking out more of your videos. Great job!

Love good genes, I got a sample with my points, and have noticed such a difference in my skin. I'm only 19 but this helped clear up my acne and brighten my skin. I'll probably buy the drunk elephant next because they have a small size that's not as expensive.

I appreciate how much effort and information you put into your videos. I'm now a subscriber. I have rosacea and added fragrance especially citrus oils etc irritate my skin. I just purchased the Drug Elephant day kit and night kit so I was able to try 4 products for just over $50. I'm going to give it a try. I know Sephora has a set with the Luna Oil and Good Genes. I will try that if the DE doesn't work for me.
