Amma Teaches Bhabhi Punjabi Cooking (Making Saag, Makki Roti & Chill)

Hi everyone! Welcome back to another vlog!
In this video, Amma and Bhabhi are making one of my all-time favorite Punjabi dishes-Makki di Roti with Saag! This vlog was so much fun because we get to watch Amma teach Bhabhi how to make Makki di Roti, which is no easy task.
Growing up, Amma would always make this for us, so it was really special to taste her Makki di Roti again. I have to say, Bhabhi did an amazing job on her first try! What do you all think?

Uff the moment when Amma started to make maki di roti just stole my heart. I mean not just because of the expertise but moments like these hold so much value. I just can't explain this is beyond wholesome. The way our grandparents transfer their values to the younger ones is priceless and when both sides admire the worth of such gestures then evergreen family moments are made. Allahumma Barik! Kudos to Momina bhabi for her first attempt and how lovely it is that she makes such great efforts. Most importantly, the way your family appreciates her sweet endeavors also needs special acknowledgement ❣️ As far as Punjabi months are concerned it is badhu currently and considered as a tough one because according to Desi culture it is the only sister of 11 brothers (the remaining months). Mostly it is humid in the subcontinent so you can attribute it towards its characteristics. Assu starts from Mid September and Kattak from Mid Oct to Mid November so as the winter is approaching our elders used to prefer saag and makki de roti. Idk the special and most anxious guests got the chance to taste it or not 😅 Special thanks for making such precious Vlogs for your KZbin family despite your busy schedule. hello Dr.Usama .....your vlogs are just amazing ..and when you donot put vlogs on your channel I would think that why he is not putting vlogs but obviously you donot put vlogs because you are so busy in your daily life but when next day when your vlog came and you said (A short vlog is better then no vlog) ...I FELT REALLY HAPPY that someone guided you with a true motivation and you picked that .The way you were pronouncing name of months and enjoying it .....I also do that with my dado and she enjoys walking with me in lawn in evening.That bond that you enjoy with your grandparents after taking out some time from your busy days and months is a thing that truely give you the kind of happiness that you cannot get from any other thing. AND both of you (HAMZA AND YOU )look super cute when you talk in English as well as Punjabi bcz we have never seen sons like you that have specially learned the language of your amma despite of your 24/7 connection with English...your family is super cool and cute.
