Actually, the way you get more cities is by defeating other nations, then a city will be created randomly on the map. Also, you can occupy other cities. Also once a country has obtained empire/kingdom status it will never downgrade. The kingdom/empire actually doesn't affect military at all.

When I tried a similar scenario a few days ago it was eerily similar. The only difference was that Korea was replaced by Japan, Kazahkstan was replaced by Mongolia, and Canada managed to rush Brazil and win instead of the other way around. Almost every other war was exactly the same.

@@syenest6415 anyway that is still not correct. italy(wich before was the kingdom of sardinia) declared war to austria hunagry only 2 times(the 2 wars of italian indipendence) and they both were victorious even if sufferinga lot of losses. Then in the sutro-prussian war italy joined only after prussia alredy declared war. And yes, they weren't as impactful as prussia, but they still got some territory over the austrians.

I dont know if you've tried this yet, but check out Conflict of Nations! It's a world War based game as well that runs in real time the only downside is it may take you some time to be able to put together a video... amd a lot of people leave the game after "day 4". Still worth a check out though if you haven't, the game mode "flashpoint" focuses central Europe + USA + Canada + Nordics, it's where I learned all my geography from!
