I watch a lot of videos about inflammation, I am learning about the multiple autoimmune diseases I have. The doctor had lots of good information but the young lady constantly interrupting was REALLY annoying. The webinars that keep the questions for the end are better, the fluidity of information is maintained so it’s easier to concentrate. Great information, thank you.

Thanks for the feedback. The video posted is a recording from a live event. We have been doing these for 2 years consistently and the idea is to have interaction during the event which actually has been received really well. The questions are from the audience. It obviously does not carry over into a recording well. Good luck with it all.

@@bjchealthAU I have attended and also hosted many webinars that were recorded for our company of 2000+ people so I understand the normal issues that can arise with webinars but there is a way to make a presentation interactive without being disruptive. I agree with the person who commented above that the way it was handled was not conducive for the webinar. It is OK to bring up items from the chat audience but it is the job of the moderator to parse out only the questions that seem relevant or seem worse the disruption of interrupting the entire presentation. Giving a tidbit of information from a person in the chat that honestly does not add to the conversation at all could just be left in the chat and not mentioned. There were times that would be better suited for stopping for discussion it also threw off the presenter as well. I really hope that any future webinars take this into consideration because it truly is unnecessary. Also the comments from the host were just filler a lot of the time and did not add or guide the conversation very well at all.

I have had a dry mouth for several weeks and I realized it was not a lack of saliva but the inside of my cheeks and my tongue are rough. Does that happen with Sjogren's or is that due to something else?

It is difficult to answer this as it is quite specific to you. However, dryness can manifest with different symptoms. This is not one usually seen but it could happen. It is advisable that you seek the advice of your treating doctor/physician.

Does sjogren's affect the brain ?
@bjchealthAU
@bjchealthAU Жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean by this but rheumatic diseases such a rheumatoid arthritis can cause some to have "brain fog" - episodes of an inability to think clearly. It's common when you are not feeling yourself and weighed down by chronic symptoms that one may lack the clarity which they would have normally.

@bjchealthAU I have read that sjogrens syndrome affects the brain. So I was asking if brain fog is one? I also have problem with thinking clearly as I suffer from sjogrens syndrome
