This has quickly become my favourite channels fast. Lots of people heating their homes with wood around where I am. I'm in the Kapuskasing area of Northern Ontario.... I go through a lot of wood here just for entertaining with bonfires etc. I would love to build or buy a proper smoker. Cheers and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Been delivered up to an hour away many times, few repaet customers. Was surprised how many times iv been told they couldn't find anyone else that will deliver 1 face cord, they all have 3 or 5 minimums for deliverys. Then they found my post.

Do you remember how much weight your little dump is rated for? I can’t wait till I can afford to buy a trailer that can haul a loose cord, but after my first haul from a tree service that lets me use their 7x14 and my new one ton that hauls it with ease, I’m going to need big and small!
@InTheWoodyard2 сағат бұрын
The small trailer is a 7k weight and empty it is about 2k....

North coast of Scotland 21 Dec ridiculously mild and another low pressure front with wind >70mph and wet wet wet. Just means I've burnt a lot less wood and now I'm probably a good 2 years ahead on splits and a year on unbucked logs

So this year, several of my customers want to know if I have wood that is not completely dry. They are saying it burns too hot and burns up too quick. Lol I take that as a compliment, then I bring them some wood that was split 4 months ago. Anything to please a customer!
@alfredutri40712 сағат бұрын
Do you ever sell 1/2 cord quantity loads? You should suggest this quantity to some of your customers so you have fewer free delivery trips.
@InTheWoodyard2 сағат бұрын
Yup, but the wood racks most people have are made to fit 1/3 of a cord (face cord) and that is all they want.

The rain rule doesn't apply to the 3rd fastest rotting wood on earth, red alder. If you had left those few chunks outside, they would be mighty ugly and starting to rot by now.

There is video evidence that the guy that helped you unload the trailer broke the marker off.

Your customers burn for recreation, one of your loads would last me one night with my recreational fires!! Nothing wrong with the smaller fires, but when you can have a big one why not!!
