We Are Making In Large Quantity Of Halwa. We Are Using These Dryfruits Which I Have Given Below. You Can Add Any Dryfruits In This Recipe. If You Want To Make Halwa At Home Calculate And Reduce The Measurments As Per Your Required Quantity
Ingredients For Halwa ::--
1 - Sugar - 2- 1/2 kg
2 - Cornflour - 1/2 kg
3 - Water - 1-1/2 liters
4 - Desi Ghee ( Butter ) - 1 kg
5 - Lime Salt - 10 grams
6 - Ggreen Cardamom - 50 grams
Measurments Of Dryfruits : -
1 - Cashew ( Kaju ) - 1kg
2 - Dates - 1 kg
3 - Anjeer - 150 grams
4 - Badham ( Almonds ) - 150 grams
5 - Poppy Seeds - 1/4 kg
6 - Puffed Rice - 1/2 kg

@@VillageFoodVillageIn I thought that the puffed rice makes the halwa stiff to enable cutting them in slices. Thanks for the reply. I will make a quarter amount of the halwa. BTW, is it OK to use jaggery instead of refined sugar.
