This Video taught me that it is possible to over fil a dry sump and cause engine to smoke . There is no other video that shows the oil inside of the tank simulation. My Artic cat XX has 3cyl Yahmaha engine started to smoke under extreme driving turns and such. Drained some oil out and never did it again.

Not a mechanic but without a breather tank the oil in the tank would be unable to be pulled out

You can use more oil rather then just what an oil pan can hold. 10 quarts vs 5 quarts. More oil can means cooler temperatures and less break down of the oil.

Brett Guysi is the only real advantage of this is running more quarts an oil pan spaced and oil cooler kit would suffice and would weigh tons less than that whole system.

There’s a few Benefits to dry sump set ups, for example, constant supply of oil on steep gradients or intense cornering, the ability to prime the engine of oil before first start up to prevent premature wear, the ability to hold more oil, the oil pump also acts as a vacuum pump and creates a vacuum inside the engine block which is known to increase horsepower. I could probably go on.

I've seen setups with airated oil and low oil pressure not running a "cyclone separator". A necessary piece of the setup. Superb animation.
