God I miss this band, I genuinely feel they saved me. During the worst time of my life they were producing the soundtrack that kept me going, what a loss for all of us that they couldn't make it work.

One day ill be rich enough to pay a reunion for them to just play this song live for me. Saddest slip up ever.

My God, the raw emotion... this band is stunning. I just want to get in my car, blast this song, and drive down the highway belting it out until I'm hoarse.

When you love some one so much you let them hurt you and you stand still because you can not bare the thought of even harming them a little bit. SO beautiful. even five years after

You've made your decision Now get up and leave The familiar sting of the woodcutter's swing to the tree I'll fall in the forest To elbows and knees And it won't make a sound Since there's no-one around here to see I was prepared to love you And never expect anything of you If the spirit has left you baby Don't lie to yourself Put them old records on And admit that it's gone somewhere else Just because we're beasts of blame by nature Doesn't mean that you should carry it again It's a question of needs and not rosary beads in the end I was prepared to love you And never expect anything of you There's no patron saint of silent restraint Baby there ain't no sword in our lake Just a funeral wake You were the coldest star in the sky Only I couldn't see it: I was blind. And in comes the black night Calling your name since you were born Only I couldn't hear it: I was empty as a drum. I was prepared to love you And never expect anything of you And there's no patron saint of silent restraint Baby there ain't no sword in our lake Just a funeral wake

Great video but I am very sad that the lyric "You were the coldest star in the sky, only I couldn't see it, I was blind" is not in this version. That is probably the most beautiful bit of music I have heard in a very long time.

I just stumbled upon this. So glad I did! Wow! It's so different than anything else that's out there right now. All of the harmony voices work together in this amazingly well! And musically, love the fact that it doesn't follow protocol as far as structure goes. Sweet!!! Brilliant! His vocal timbre is so smooth... Love it love it love it...

After hearing and loving 'Bible Belt', I was keeping an eye out for more of your work. Caught 'Weights and Measures' and was knocked out! Outstanding work!! I was so impressed I bought the EP from itunes. Keep the standard up boys and I'm gonna try and catch you live. I get the feeling you are heading for great things and high altitudes so keep grounded. Warm winds and sun to all of ya.

This song is pure magic. It's the kind of song that has the power to remind me of a past love...and yet it does not make me sad that the love is over and that it hurt me so much but glad that I could give my love like that.

It annoys me how 60 people dislike this. Its the most perfect song it doesn't deserve anything less than the most glorious, positive feedback
@Spishie7 жыл бұрын
Not everyone likes the same music as you. Everyone has different tastes. So what if some people dislike it? How does that effect you and your experience listening to this? Get over it and just enjoy what you enjoy. No point in letting other people's opinions over something like music annoy you. O_o
