The idea was to find any commercial value in the old bench gravels. The gold was there ..like .11 grams for 20 buckets so that would be terrible for just a guy running buckets but it could be ok for someone running 40 tons a day ... Thanks for watching as usual !!

Try using one of those black plastic containers at Lowe’s for mixing concrete at the end of the sluice for the tailings. Maybe put it on a low cart with a handle and that might help even more. Just a thought. Possibly have two sets. Fill one and switch it out with the other.

Good evening. Couple of things to run by you. I just joined a club that has quite a few claims on lower Weaver Creek. I'm sure you probably have mined up in that area. If I am out sampling, about what should I be looking for ,for number of pieces of gold for a half bucket sample before bringing in a drywasher. I usually screen down to 1/4 inch. Thanks Red
@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK4 ай бұрын
We generally hope for a gram every 20 buckets (unscreened). Screened down, maybe 3/10ths gram per bucket

@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK Thank for the quick response!! Wow I have alot of work to do to find ground like that. Everything I have found so far doesn't come close to that. I don't know if I am sampling and mining in the wrong areas or most of these club claims are worthless. Thanks Red

😄😁finally someone managed to do something about that mesh. I keep complaining about the mesh on the drywasher being too large size and bigger gravels getting into the system clogging it preventing the fine gold to accumulate. Where did you get that mesh? I bought homedepot 1/8 inch mesh been using it for while, but it's too small in size and soft,when throwing rocks on it it bends. Ever considered solving black sand problem and preventing it clogging the riffles? I never felt comfortable with the top grizzly being so large and empty. You can drill a hole from the side and enter a PVC pipe inside. And put strong magnets inside the pipe. When throwing the dirt through the grizzly, the black sand will stick to the pipe. When finished drywashing,clean the gold, remove the magnet, and drain the black sand
@wadewilson60975 жыл бұрын
Yea that Boulder Dash has some drywasher skills
@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK5 жыл бұрын
That may work. But re inventing the wheel can sometimes create more issues. We all deal with the black sands, however it may depend on the type of heavies your dealing with. Fine grained heavies can really compact together and prevent gold from settling out and stop the air from stratifying the gold. Coarse heavies are a little more forgiving... Keep trying and experimenting.
@vahagnmelikyan29065 жыл бұрын
One thing I can't figure why it's always pushing the heavy stuff to one side of riffles. I haven't checked but when I get back home from driving I'll check if the holes where the pins are attached for the stand are evenly drilled. I think it's crooked which causes imbalance. Or it's the bottom heavy hose that grabs to one side and causes the heavys to move to the edge. Maybe the hose needs to come out from behind (where the big gravels fall from grizzly) not the left or right side.
@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK5 жыл бұрын
@@vahagnmelikyan2906 Yes keep checking everything. Make sure the tray is level side to side. Make sure the hose is hanging and not pushing the tray sideways. Its ok if the machine is crooked, but you must make sure the tray is level. Also experiment with air volume.

our hopper feed clogs alot we tried a tickler wire in the feed hole,, still some clogging have you guys tried a 12v vibrator on the hopper bottom to remedy ?? thanks
@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK2 жыл бұрын
Short answer: No Clogging is caused by several things however Usually the pitch of the hopper is way to steep. Wet material, to much organics ( sticks,roots etc) angularity of the material, or the gate isnt opened enough. Theres a balance that has to be met and it will self feed no problem

Besides electro magnets etc... The diamagnetic forces of gold copper and silver are non the less very interesting.... As copper and other materials move across magnets they "slow" down, this principal is heavily explored by another youtuber agorithm or somethin, bald headed white guy and another old white guy who shows this with a copper penny then gold coin on an aluminum ramp with a magnet
