The 10:25 scene was my favorite. "Hast thou lied to us?" It cracks me up, now, but that was my brother and I. Our lives were full of ridiculous rules in a radically overprotective household. We feared breaking rules, but we feared lying about it even more. I only ever broke one rule and lied about it, and failed. The shaming scolding I got was so horrible, I never tried again. If you're a parent, all I can say is, free the caged children. I've had to contend with a lot of regret (even though I wasn't at fault) over what felt like a wasted childhood and teen years, which just led to wasted 20s, and I still struggle to forgive my mother. It took me to 30 to finally develop a sense of self-esteem. My message to the world: DON'T overprotect children.

No one will understand this I'm sure, but.. I lost it in the first 20 seconds, THEN he sarcastically apologized for "having [White Privilege]" .... like no offense by any means but back 70+ years ago there was such a thing but like there isn't hardly any of that anymore, the focus just gets all pushed on the extremely few incidences of when narcissist white people actually act that way and therefore the media floods that or those few stories, and EVERYONE thinks that EVERY white person on the planet is like that... I have alot of white friends, none of them act privileged as if it were a competition or something... like fr tho... i said that not as a rant but as an explanation to why I found him (sarcastically) "apologizing for being a privileged white person" ..... sorry if someone doesn't understand what I said and how I said it and gets offended, but someone will bc you cant sneeze literally without offending someone in today's society.... but anyway, less than 30 seconds in and this man has already made my year!!

When a mother told me it looked like my son slept in his clothes. She was horrified when I told her that he had as he wasn’t a morning person and I was just glad that I could bribe him to make it to the bus on time with an unopened PopTart, since his scheduled lunch time was 1:30. 🤷🏼♀️
