Kellen is one of the best of the current (great) crop of young comedians. His crowd work ad libbing is genius. He has the same kind of mind as George Carlin (without the cussing) and Seinfeld (without the ego). He is criminally underrated. Next chance I get to see him live, I'm going.

By the way, thank GOD for Dry Bar Comedy. LOVE when comedians have to use intelligence and wit and clever thought and writing to get audiences to roar, rather than shock them with cussing and crotch grabbing. There's certainly a place for that type of stand up, but it's great that Dry Bar is here for when we're in the mood for some family friendly laughs.

Clean comedy is my favorite type of standup for this exact reason. I love all kinds of standup, but clean humor requires a different skill set to be funny. Not saying it's more difficult, I imagine writing ANY kind of standup comedy is super challenging. But the clean comics all hold a special place in my heart.

The recipe works better if you eliminate the white sugar and melted butter and replace it with coconut oil. Also replace the white flour with coconut flour. The coconut brings out the banana flavor even more while offering a sweetness of it's own, and reduces the glucose spike at the same time.

​@@aessidhe6304 Here's a banana bread recipe I use: 5/3 cups ripe bananas, mashed (not a typo. 5/3 cups = 1.666 cups) 1 cup coconut flour 4 large eggs ¼ cup virgin unrefined coconut oil, melted 3/2 teaspoons ground ginger or ground cinnamon ¾ teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon fine sea salt optional: ⅓ cup honey or pure maple syrup 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (or vanilla paste if strictly Paleo) Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper; grease paper with coconut oil. 2. In medium bowl, whisk coconut flour, ginger, baking soda, and salt. 3. In large bowl, whisk eggs until blended; whisk in bananas, honey, and vanilla (do not add oil yet). 4. Add flour mixture to banana mixture, stirring until blended and smooth. Whisk in coconut oil until blended. Scrape batter into prepared pan, smooth top with spatula. 5. Bake in preheated oven for 55-65 minutes or until a skewer inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes and then use parchment paper to lift bread from pan onto a cooling rack, Serve warm or cool completely.

I subscribed and then found out you were doing a show near me that weekend. I got about 12 friends to go with me. Every single person in my party had a blast, we yelled out very "portland" suggestions during your crowdwork, and the show went wonderfully all around.
