I'm a Carolinian, a Buddhist, and big girl, and the meat jokes are hilarious, and yeah I've eaten deer. My bff's husband and daughter go hunting, and her daughter is a crack shot with her crossbow. Deer gets people through the winter here.

​@@verysilly8883that process just cuts through the major disconnect of getting up and running into the grocery store for different cuts of meat....either way, an animal died to make that possible, for some odd reason, it's just often seen as "less heartless" when the meat market and butcher does the work for an individual. In my opinion, that's kind of self insulating oneself from reality and minimizes the life lost. That pack of meat just became another item in a person's cart vrs the process it takes to raise, butcher, process, and prepare meat that an individual raises from hoof to plate.
