I think a great deal of that sense of wanting peace comes with age. I spent 23 years as a firefighter, which is nothing but wading into chaos and turmoil for other people. Now, at 51, I just want my old tractor, a little plot of land, strong fences, to love my family, and to have the remainder of my life in peace. Thank you for your words and wisdom.

Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). Have you ever gone to him in search of peace? As a personal testimony, I spent sixteen years wanting peace and having nothing but turmoil in my heart and mind. Only when I came to Jesus and his sacrifice at Calvary and put all my faith and trust in him to pay my debt for my sins did I find unexplainable peace (Philippians 4:7). Prior to that I was worried did I do this right, or did I say a prayer right, or whatever else I was worried about so I never had peace because I was relying on what I did. It was all about me. I found no peace in that. True everlasting peace only cames through complete and utter reliance solely on Jesus and his payment to pay for me so that i can go free with His peace. It’s amazing that he would do that for me but it has been such a blessing to have peace in all aspects of life now that I have been born again and thus became a child of God. I pray you are able to find His peace!

Respect is a vine with logic and reason as branches. Some people were never taught, some never learned. Some people are wired differently. No amount of empathy, logic, reason, want of remedy, cure, or removal of controversy will reach by any means applied. It's hard to accept that there isn't a way to have the conversation that leads to a handshake, a new beginning, or a clean end. If continued with the misguided or tangled wiring the carousel of continued misinterpretations or deaf ears will continue. Don't throw a rope to king Kong unless you know God of Haven walks with you. Some don't want to give up on hoping the change can come. Sometimes prayer and leaving it to God is the only answer. We don't learn this in school. Thanks for your work. It reaches. It connects. It's needed in today's society and communities. Whatever is left of it can be shored up and rebuilt, or just reminded of how we do.

Don't worry about people pleasing. I have ASD too and was diagnosed with pretty much every mental health disorder. Once I left the treatment, therapists, and toxic family members and friends behind I healed. Most people will never understand. I found people who like and appreciate me. They are all over 70 years old, I guess I'm an old soul. The truth is our culture is broken and poisonous. Life will get better. Focus on yourself, eat healthy, exercise, follow your special interests and passions. Flourish in your own way and never compare yourself to anyone but your own past self. Hello, Dewayne! Best regards from Eastern Europe ) I was just about to write a comment on whether you could do a video or include in one of your incoming ones the topic of intimidation. When someone is trying to intimidate you for whatever reasons, both in and outside of you, but I think this video answered my questions about that well enough. In one of your older videos you said that you have a heart for young people. Very rarely do I see someone translate their words into actions as unequivocally as you do it. The sheer fact that every time I listen to you talking about whatever it is that's on your mind, it feels like I'm in the same room sitting across from you, speaks for itself. It can be deceiving when you're down and yet the person you're talking to isn't saying what you'd like to hear. But in my experience, both personal and as an observant, the best help is the unapologetic one. All the best to you and yours!

I had what I have called an unpeaceful home life growing up. I played sports growing up and went to work for a man who taught me how to frame houses. Very patient man. I would work hard all day and go to the gym in the evening to help “release” anger. I became a firefighter several years later, which of course, is stressful. Saw a lot of pain and suffering while doing my best with my crew to help alleviate some of the pain and suffering of others. I’m retired now but still keep busy and love woodworking and building stuff. I’ve realized that the peace I have is really God’s Peace that He gives to me when I make myself available and open to Him. I’ve learned that when I do my part by creating a “quiet place”, whether that be in a quiet little chapel, or an out of the way place in nature or even in my own home, then at some point during that quiet time God visits me with His Peace. I’ve always been somewhat introverted and a lone wolf, though I do like being around people, but I also like my “alone time” just to “be” and I do try to stay away from the noise of the world. I will say it’s been a long road to get where I am now and it’s not for the faint of heart. I also have learned that my strength to persevere is from God. He doesn’t ask me to be the strongest man in the arena, but to just keep getting up and walking toward Him and just not quit. Resting is fine, just don’t quit the journey.

At 26, i found my peace long ago. With both parents passing, being married and starting a family, i learned long ago that its ok to cut people off that dont like your peace. the universe will bring the right ones in and kick the wrong ones out. This is such a sound minded video for someone struggling with decisions of "should i stop talking or hanging with this person.'' You dont need them, you dont need that drama, you dont need that stress.

Helping people find peace with God, is what a peace maker is to me. To start with Jesus and find peace of God, will eventually bring us to pursue peace with our neighbours. We need to remember, we are not home yet. God Bless.

Peace is so much more important than noise, for sure. Been watching your videos lately, and I am newly subscribed sir. Some of the most useful info I’ve heard on here, I surely appreciate your videos!

Amen to that. In my younger days, I could be a mean, nasty S.O.B. As I got older, I learned to reflect back on my actions, and it scared the hell out of me. It was at that point, that I started to learn how to be at peace. It is a better way to live life.

Amen! This is exactly what I've been dealing with for a while. I've removed a great number of toxic people from my life over the last few years, most were family. Thank you very much for this video sir. I'm very glad a stumbled across your channel.

I had to listen to this several times, and it's so true. I grew up in a household full of noise, chaos, and drama. Even at an early age, I've craved peace. People wonder why I'm so anti-social. It's because I absolutely loath drama. Unfortunately, like you said, people live for drama and chaos.

Thank you 🙏 Dewayne. Good stuff! Peace and prosperity is the goal and neither can be achieved with a person who has an empty soul hidden behind a mask. Respect the dead as you respect yourself and leave them where they stand or lay. Render them irrelevant and tend to your own pasture. However, if that horse, bull, coyote keeps trespassing… well, even a humble virtuous cowboy knows and understands when it is time to put a horse down. Have no room for hate in your heart, but also have no tolerance for the trespasser. Mercy, forgiveness, and vengeance is in Gods hands and even He has washed His hands of them long ago. Stake your ground, build and maintain formidable boundaries, mend your fences, treat others as you wish to be treated, and take no $hit!

I appreciate this man’s wisdom so much. Most people like (who are very rare to begin with) this choose to stay out of the public eye altogether, don’t take his words for granted.

I am now 68 years old. I finally about five years ago, set boundaries and went no contact with the narcissistic people in my life. They caused me so much stress and anxiety that it affected my health. I am disabled and have had six spinal surgeries. .I am now at peace, I’ve excepted everything and I am a big believer in my relationship with Jesus Christ. I’m probably the happiest I’ve ever been. I don’t have many friends anymore .I have my relationship with my husband 30 years. We don’t socialize very often. . ❤
