In 1973, this CITROEN DS 19 from october 1957 got in this barn. Since then, she never been moved. She spended 50 years standing here. In may 2023, we moved out this car, for the first time in 50 years. Absolutely complete, black paint with interior "rouille". Rusty but never been touch, with 70044 kilometers only. It's always a big feeling to find something like this. Maybe one day, she will run again...who knows. SORTIE DE GRANGE. BARN FIND. OLDTIMER

Une sortie de grange, c'est toujours sympa. Mais quand il s'agit d'une DS 57, momifié depuis 50 ans dans un tel état, c'est juste sublime ! Merci pour le partage 😉

Nice patent of rising dead hydropneumatic by removing sphere and screwing bolt on the adapter to push cylinder out. Very clever and I see this first time!

How lucky can you get! This is a jewel right out of its box. So happy it handed up with you and your “magical hands” it will be in vrai bijoux once more, after you’re done with it. 👍👍👍

A true barn find indeed ! The interior appears to be in outstanding condition . The body looks to have little corrosion and little damage , l did see the lower right rear door was damaged . And if there 's only 50 years dirt and no bird lime on the paintwork then that too will respond well . What is it worth as is ? It's incredible to think this is 66 years old ! Thanks for sharing .

This car is not mine, I helped a friend to move out the car. I think he gonna sell her as she is... When he discover the DS; he cannot let her die there 🙂

Shame it had the corrosive liquid in the suspension system . Hope it gets rebuilt . Wonderful car ❤❤❤❤❤

I always convert old DS with the green oil LHM. SO they works very fine. This car is not mine, a friend bough her. She'll be for sale as she is.

I would really love to have experienced the revelation the DS must have been at introduction in 1955.

I did, I was 8 and my Mom told me to go back to normal and stop talking about a car. Long story short. Bought one when I turned 18, now I am with one foot in my grave, but STILL drive Citroen. My only lifelong love affair. A lot of cars still had running boards, some had cable brakes, and here is this wonder on wheels. My Mom and the rest of the family also got the Citroen virus.

The DS came out in 1955 only with this gearbox.

It needs some tender loving care. It didn't have much road life , built in 1957 , and sitting in a barn for 50 years. The interior doesn't look to bad.
