This DS3 is more like Peugeot 2008. Mini SUV. I think they share the same battery and motor: Opel Corsa, Peugeot 208, 2008 and also DS3

Thanks! Finally😎 i like this car in black paint with Performence line package👍 looks aggressive! The reason i like DS3 more then the other 2(Peugeot/Opel) is for its soundproofing and Comfort! To many car makers want it sporty and less comfort,but in Sweden/Norway we have so bad termac roads and very noisy inside the cars! Therefore i like DS go for comfort and softiness setup👍 To bad the testcar have 18 inch wheels👿

“Any German here??” I think that also in other European country speed limit are superior than 110km/h on the highways 😂. At least here in Italy is 130km/h, but there is a tolerations of 10km/h, so you can go to 140km/h without risk any fine.

In Hungary 130 km/h.

In France the speed limit is 130 but you can reach 137 km/h because of the radars miscalculations. I like driving 137 with my Tesla. 🙂

Don't like this car's interior, but it's a matter of taste. Have you planned to test the Opel Corsa-e? That's the car I have ordered and I should receive it in August. Cheers!

With fossil cars, there is a rule of thumb that increasing the tyre width by 1 cm brings a 0.5 litter increase in fuel consumption. So having similar consumption between the two cars is impressive, especially when you put aerodynamics in the mix. I wonder if the DS3 has a newer version of the battery management software (even though it came out before the 208).

Nice car, but what I meant about 110km/t test earlier, was to do the test at that speed, that is a much more realistic speed on highways, but I know the Norwegian highways are relatively curvey and narrow, so it makes it Haarder to go 110 ;)

3:25 Ameribro here, always jealous of that sexy 3-phase 240V power. 11kw on a L2 station is fantastic. The most we get in the US on L2 is 6.6kw or occasionally 7.2kw.

I had the chance to sit in this car and I really do not like the diamond design. Materials and build quality was good. Back seat space behind me being 1,8m was very poor. Way too expensive in my opinion. Thanks for the video as always.

Hi Björn, when are you reviewing the e-2008? I'm considering it and looks like it's built on the same platform than DS. E-2008 isn't available in Finland until Autum :(

Hi Bjorn. How about testing cars for professionals/contactors? E-expert, Mercedes, Toyota proace ? Ofcourse as soon as you have the acces to theese cars :) ....but as I see you have it a lot sooner than the others :)

Little poor effectivity (e208,e2008, DS3) comare with Model 3 50kW battery...or Ioniq 38kW....but big plus for e208 or 2008 is price.

@Wolfgang Preier Yes the E-up surely has the right price but the internals are really cheap they are the same as the 15k euro non electric version. The MG is too big. Thanks for the answer :)

Bjorn, one important thing that u never mentioned in any of your range tests is the cooling/ heating/ temperature setting while u do the tests. It can affect your range result dramatically.

It's always on 21°C auto on all my tests. No need to waste time mentioning it every time.

1:16 More rubber? No bigger wheels, LESS rubber. 215/55R18 has less sidewall than 215/60R17 (first number is width, second is sidewall in percentage of the width and rim size)

0.250kwh/km with only one person (Bjørn) who have max 80 kg. Imagine to have 3 more persons and some luggage. This car is so thirsty that Probably it would use over 400wh/km 🤪. Im glad i dont have any more space in my garage 😅.

Modes make close to zero difference. Eco just limits max power, limits ac/heating, makes the accelerator sluggish and increases regen when you let off. You can just do that yourself basicly, it just forces you to not waste power. And the increased regen will sometimes make the range shorter as it's more efficient to coast for longer with no regen before you have to slow down.
