Totally agree with your review, I test drove this car twice and it’s really about being relaxed. I drove it in rush outs Paris and I was really relaxed, my driving styled followed and the saleswoman actually asked me to keep driving even though it was the end of the day and she had to go home! Best test drive I ever had :) The infotainment and cameras are a shame though.

I'm awaiting my DS7 delivery (Ink Blue, Alezan upholstery, Opera ambiance), THP225, full options within a few days from now. Can't wait to get it... I must say that the interior gets in your face the first time you get inside this beautiful car. So much stuff is new, there's a lot of ingenuity and details that take time to absorb. Then you digest the ergonomics, and it strikes you: the style and refinement are absolutely classy! It's so French! I personally think that the German big names are getting slapped right in the face by the style of the DS7. Next to it, their interiors look amazingly dull and sad.

somehow, French do know how to make interiors where you feel good. there can be objections about design/styling/functionality/quality, but I don't remember a French car where I felt bad. but, I wouldn't buy a French car - I've got my reasons (experiences and memories) 🙂

Tanto el exterior como el interior lucen un diseño sin igual, una imagen que la distingue de las demás. Es excelente la alternativa que ofrece DS, en el segmento premium. Me gustan mucho los productos del grupo PSA. Aquí en México, solamente se comercializa Peugeot. En su llegada, a fines de los 90's, causo gran aceptación y agrado en aquellas personas que buscaban autos europeos. En sus inicios, Peugeot tuvo problemas en el servicio post-venta. Una red de distribuidores bastante limitada, con productos que no eran de origen europeos. Afortunadamente resolvieron esto, tomando la decisión de ofrecer productos totalmente europeos, mejorando la red de distribución y el servicio. Espero que te encuentres bien, cuídate Anna. This is THE one non foreign SUV I would buy (I am French). As you state, it is elegant, classy, very desirable and different somewhat from the rest. So thanks Anna I think your review is fair. Smart looking vehicle. Not always something you can say about French vehicles and I think we have them in New Zealand. My wife would love it but not enough POWER! for me. Another brilliant review Anna :) The DS 7 does look fantastic, and it looks like a relaxing driving experience. I have been put off French cars after owning 2 new Citroen's which sadly both had major repairs with little mileage on the clock. I'm sure they have come a long way since then. You looked amazing as always I must say .😉 I would love to see you behind the wheel of the Mercedes AMG GLC 63 s?? Give it a good workout on those Swiss mountain roads.

The PSA Group recently merged with FCA and is planning on coming back to the US by 2026. They should have an electric option for each of their vehicles by then according to their CEO. Let's hope they bring the DS brand first!

Hello Frog's Well! For the 1.6L petrol (225 hp) it was about 9-10l. Not the most economical, fairly small engine, lots of horses and not a small car.

I can't quite make my mind up about DS though this model looks the most convincing so far. I would love for Citroen to bring out a 2020s take on the original and utterly beautiful DS. Now that would be something else 👌 The infotainment system doesn't sound too user friendly. I guess I like things to just work intuitively 😂 Love the idea of blonde logic though 😀

What a shame that the French car industry totally gave up on 6-cylinder engines... This car clearly deserves one. The 3.0 PSA-Ford-Jaguar would do wonders in such a car, I think...and yes I hear the DS-5 and 7 are extremely comfy to Drive. The comfort-roadhandling ratio seems to be about the only Real edge that the French car industry has over other car makers. Nothing handles like a Peugeot while remaining that plush. But is that enough to beat a german brand? In that SuV segment, I don't think so. Because when you go SUV, comfort IS likely not the first quality you are looking for, is it? Unless you are a Sedan driver just buying an SUV because it's fashionable. For me the only SUV that has a legitimate place on the market is the Range Rover, because it has Real off-road capabilities, and that compensates for the bulk, the weight and the square ugliness (unless you are stuck in the eighties and think that "square is beautiful, of course). But for the SUVs, what's the point ? That fad will hopefully go away in a few years, and se will be back to prettiervcars with good handling, less weight and better performance. I can't wait :)

Yes it's Turbo same basic design as the old joint venture BMW/PSA Mini engine amongst many other car's, one of the most problematic engine design's of modern times.
