I'd take this over an A class in an instant. The A is everywhere, just everywhere and has become unremarkable. Saw one of these zipping along outside of Edinburgh on the bypass. Might as well have been Marty McFly back from the future because it stood out and above everything. Like a glimpse into what could have been before everything went German and grey and black. Love it. One of the best reviews about the DS4 that I found on the Tube, nice work! I just bought the DS4 Performance Line in April and in 1 month it will be mine, DS did a special offer on the DS4 PL full optional for the 10 years here in Italy for the Diesel and Petrol engines, I choose the Diesel for my work that requires plenty of highway and long distance rides and I had the chance to bring it at home at 35k and more than 10k of optional in it! A good looking car, different from the others with all the comforts of premium brands, thank you for your review! ;)

Hi Dave and Bob, What a cracking review from you guys, the new Ant & Dec partnership of the motoring world.😎😎😁😁 Love the car AND also that you chose a petrol version (Dave, I commented favourably to you when you did the electric car video and said I was thinking of an EV) however, at 75 years young and the mess this government is making of the EV transition I am reverting back to Petrol or Hybrid (not plug in). I genuinely love the DS Range but as Bob says, very expensive. I’m currently eyeing up a Lexus es300h or at the other end a Lexus UX250h. One would think that you drive Dacia (your remarks about the DS range being expensive. No more than it`s premium rivals) and than you mention you`re eyeing Lexus Es300h and Ux250h. Yeah those are cheap I tell you. You do realise that this DS4 is cheaper than both + the base price of one is alot lower than 54000€. More towards a crossover than a hatchback to me. Unlike DS5, it still has a lot of hatchback essence to it's look...exclusive and unique that is. So for me, even though DS5 had been discontinued, it still stands above the rest of of the other latest "trying to be advanced design hatchback" you may call it.

All due respect, Please reconsider your decision to buy this car... I bought the 2023 model and have been dealing with its absurdities for a year. While driving, all the screens go out, I can't turn off the air conditioning, I can't see my speed, and I can't disable lane assist or the start-stop function. In short, I can't perform any actions that are controlled through the screens.

Your 1 unfortunate example shouldn't put off all other buyers. I know of owners of other brands who have had similar problems but others who haven't.

@@fairybuddy-angel2035 the real problem here is DS as a brand is not centring customers. Though they are aware of the problem they only offer temporary solutions or not offering anything at all. When I buy another brand and have the same problem, I am assure of solution and support.

€54k would get you a brand new Skoda Superb L&K model (with every creature comfort).................Stellantis, especially in Ireland.....have grossly overpriced this car,
