How the Remote ID was by-passed? just for Govt Dept?

When used recreationally, only drones that weigh 250 grams or more are required to have Remote ID. Drones operated by the Federal Government are exempted from Remote ID. Drones used by state, local, municipal, or tribal governments are required to have Remote ID.

The MSRP is on FLIRs website, has been since launch, under $10K. DJI can no longer get radiometric cores from FLIR from what I can tell. DoD is pushing pretty hard to cut DJI off entirely from US technology. In a few years doing real thermal inspection work is going to require non-DJI products to one degree or another.

How could you have missed the price? $9, 695....for the whole thing, DJI wants more just for the camera, and you need keep up with all the BS updates and your data IS COMPROMISED
