M-Audio Oxygen PRO Controller - Customize Drum Pad Colors, Notes, and Parameters

It was a lot of talking about how to set the pads to channel 10 and the keys to channel 1. Then showed instructions on how to change colors on one tab. It would be nice to know HOW SET KEYS TO CHN 1 and PADS TO CHN 10.

Is it possible to make the pads more sensetive, kind of hard to press really hard (as needed) all the times.

thanks for the great video! I'm struggling to understand if there's an easy way with the mini pro to switch midi channel for the keyboard easily. many controller just allow to press a button + a keyboard key to change the midi channel (and the corresponding vsti I'd set in my daw) The manual briefly mentions being able to hit SHIFT+one of the "labelled" keys but there are no keys labelled with 1-16, unlike the larger 49 keys oxygen pro, but I'm afraid this is just a "copy/paste" error from previous oxygen manuals. Is there some workaround or shortcut to change MIDI channel on the fly with one click? This essential for my live playing... is there a way to quickly change midi channel for the keyb without many clicks, knobs, etc thanks for your help!!

@@rodschejtman ... after I posted here months ago, I tried contactiong m-audio and got this reply: "Unfortunately, the Oxygen Pro Mini does not have this feature you are mentioning. The only way to do this, would be to use the editor to change the MIDI channel and create a preset, which can then be uploaded to the controller and recalled at a later date. ​I hope that this helps" Let me add that.. just a month later, the Arturia MiniLab 3 was presented, which covered all the features I needed for a small controller: MIDI Din Out, powerful and easy-to-use arpeggiator .. and this simple 1-click MIDI channel assignment capability! Went for it and love it so far :)

I was thinking about using this with an ipad. Koala sampler. Which has 4 banks of 16 pads. Is it possible to have 4 banks corresponding to the 4 sample banks and the pads in each bank? So I can click a button to move to another bank easily???

Alright so I changed the colors as you perfectly describe, but when I turned my keyboard on again, it reset all the colour changes. Is there a fix to this

Can someone please help me with a problem i have with my oxygen pro61? all keys from D2 and down are not playing midi notes, but insted controls the clips launching or do nothing at all. anybody knows if this is supposed to happen?couldn't find any answers onlin

Hi. I have a problem with my oxygen pro 25. If you play in scale mode and press two keys of a note at the same time that duplicate each other, then the sound of this note will play without ceasing even after you release the key. And in the piano roll you get a very long note. Try to choose, for example, C minor, and press simultaneously on the E and F, on the legato instrument. And you hear that the note does not turn off. How to solve it?

When I press shift and preset it takes me to PITCH mode please help I have the 49 key Pro controller? I haven't been able to get my drum pads to work since i got it 2 weeks ago!

I think it defaults to the pitch control edit first, but if you tap on a pad or tweak a control it should switch automatically to that control edit.

did you ever figure it out? you can use preset mode and they will work, but then you lose the DAW mode functions like Save and Quantize...

Now I'm in my 3rd week of the Ableton intermediate course and actually took the keyboard into my tutor and that's exactly what we figured out last night 😂. Yeah you're right I loose all access to the scences being played if I want the drum pads to work so I'll just do without them. And hey thanks for the answer after all this time mate, nice 1!!!👍😎😁
