Just picked up a Stage3 and this tutorial got me started- many thanks - God bless 🤗

I'm glad to see this. we got this for my church and I've been lost. I am afraid to touch anything because I can't get back to the beginning. I'm going to take my laptop to church and go through this. I wish you moved just a little slower and had the camera closer to the keyboard as you are teaching.

The MIDI out also triggers the vocal harmonies in the VoiceLive 3 Extreme. Pretty amazing.

@@DSoundman Would you please do a tutorial on this? How would you "trigger vocal harmonies" in a vocal harmony pedal using the Nord? What does a full set up look like to run all these pieces into logic/any DAW and record? I would appreciate it if you could show all of the connections - Nord, Vocal Pedal, Mic, Audio Interface, cables - all set up and running into a DAW to record a song that has Nord instrumentals and vocal harmonies.

Hello Douglas, I'm evaluating the NS388 and the YC88. Your videos are very useful in helping me make a decision on the two. After years of using the NS388 have you encountered keybed issues? I've heard of keybed issues
@reginaldgeorge53636 ай бұрын
I’m definitely interested in one of the compact stage keyboards. But I am a blind keyboard is I know they’re up to the stage four but I imagine it’s gonna be the same issues for me when you were showing that split layer functionality, which is amazing but it sounds like you’ve got to adjust your split point from the screen. You can’t just hit a note on the keyboard and you know is there direct ways of adjusting those zones without having to dive deep into menus and pages to set up simple performances, and how many presets are in here? I was comparing this to some thing like the YC 61 but I just perform live. I’m not doing anything with midi and I would like maybe 10 to 20 presets with dedicated buttons that I don’t have to scroll to.

JUST got my FIRST ever Nord Stage 3 - the one you have there 73 key compact as I just think it is best to have the portability as I take it to church and back home a few times a wk - I currently use an Akai MPK 261 midi controller + NanoKontrol 2 ( with mainstage, Omnisphere and Unify) so am used to the lighter synth touch - I have wanted the Nord for several yrs now - still LOVE my Akai with my Macbook as we have someone doing piano ( Yamaha Modx) as I do mostly organ/ pads etc BUT yeah my question ( may seem dumb ) but can I use the Nord sounds as well as a controller for my MacBook to mix the 2 together - like does the Extern button work for that ? I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL - and have learned ALLOT in a wk or so already

Hello! I have my Nord stage 3 for 2 days, your video helps me a lot to get to know my Nord a lot faster. I have one question, I plug in my 3.5mm headphone but that doesn't work, any idea why? Thank you!
@DSoundman2 жыл бұрын
The 3.5mm jack in the Stage 3 is a line input (for plugging in a phone or audio stream) and won’t work as a headphone out. You will either need to get headphones that have a 1/4in jack, or find a 3.5mm to 1/4in adaptor so you can plug it into the 1/4in headphone out on the Stage 3. Hope that helps!

Haha not forgotten, but I had to choose what to spend time on and what to leave for future more in-depth videos. This video is focused on getting a beginner up and running as quickly as possible. Most beginners won't use outputs 3&4 until they get into more complex setups. :-)
