Phil probably 'forgot' this as a 'pro player' but once you reach like ranks of diamonds and master. It's less about your khambos and more of the psychology game between you and your opponent, who ever figures out the other and completely downloads them, Game, Set, Match. So you do not ever approach the same way several times cause Master players don't guess, they read you like a damn hawk.

Normal children learn growing up that they can't be great at everything. Some people don't make the high school basketball team or the church choir. To be honest, removing phil from all of this, this is terrible advice. Sure, there are sometimes where you aren't just going to get the full potential, but you should never give up something just because it isn't for you. If you want to be a SF Master, it doesn't matter who you are all you have to do is keep practing and keep trying, and this is true for everything else. Maybe you won't ever be the very best because that just isn't your fate in life or whatever but you should never ever give up trying to be. Just because it's been decades, it's never too late to try again or keep trying. That being said, like @mixedgrene9729 said, Phil's problem is that he wants to be good without the practice or self-reflection. He needs to understand that he's the one who keeps making the mistake, not the game or the opponents.

I always find it funny when he says things will only work online when the game is pretty much the same live as it is online. The only difference being that Phil would need to hide in the bathroom again if he spoke to other people like he does online.

23:50 "DUDE! That's 5 throws I couldnt stop!" THEN HE TRIES TO PARRY THE NEXT THROW! DSP keeps calling these players pattern players but then he cant recognize the most blatant patterns 1:00 "Somehow he MAGICALLY guesses!" 1:25 "AGAIN A GUESS! The guessing is ret- ridiculous!" He is really insulting his opponent's intelligence because he is predictable and getting read. 2:30 "Once again he gets lucky!" DSP YOU KEEP SPAMMING OD UP BALL AND IT WHIFFS ALL THE TIME 11:10 "OH THAT'S IT! PATTERN!" The only pattern here is DSP spamming OD up ball. He is losing his mind and blaming everything on pattern play when he should be able to beat it if its a pattern... 11:35 "Literally nothing to react to what I'm actually doing. Just guesses!" 11:55 DSP goes for command grab here and Dee Jay reacts and jumps out of it, but DSP reacts by saying "WOW, RIGHT!" as if Dee Jay didnt earn it somehow. 12:10 "No matter what I do he was going to do that anyway! It doesnt matter what attack I did he was going to do that!" Then bait it. If he is going to do it no matter what, then you should be able to bait it with something safe and then block and punish with a huge combo. But that is not what happened, because he used it to react to blanka slowly jumping at him. 12:40 "I knew it! Same pattern shit!" IT WAS AN ANTI AIR PHIL, YOU DID A SLOW ASS JUMP IN! Someone reacting to your jump in with an anti air is not a pattern to complain about! 17:35 "I cant do anything to that command grab from that distance!" Jump. Then he tried to jump out of oki and got punched to death by Manon lmfao

How is Phil at Diamond with Blanka not knowing you can slide under fireballs, or jump over with Air Blanka Ball? Or he could perfect parry the fireball and drive rush to pressure Ryu… None of Phils excuses are valid, at all. Some are even so badly made up that doesn’t exist in the game (normals that has high priority? That’s bs)

When he makes a play, it's a good play. When his opponent makes a play, it was a lucky guess or pattern players. DSH, DarkSydeHypocrit. They're not guessing, he's predictable.

there are things like throw drive rush that most people will try to get you to block big buttons, so most of the time you can jab and it will interupt, there's also drive rush cancels, if its from a light, uou can mash and will win all the time, if its from a medium and they try to do a big attack then you can mash, mostly those are the things to look out for as well as untrue block strings
