DSPIAE are a Chinese manufacturer. The Eu distributor is Breveco. They also make an awesome circle cutter which is great for cutting masks and some really nice quality cutting mats as well as a top quality anodised aluminium tool holder and a high quality pin vise / hand drill (mentioned below) that suits the standard PCB drill bits.

For me , if you have to cut `away from the piece` , with £20 sprue cutters , and then clean up with Xacto blade and file ...... you may as well of used `Poundland` cutters , as the expensive ones gave you nothing.

Do they sell replacement drills and if so are they sold single or do you need to get a new set?

The drills are PCB drills, readily available from many vendors on eBay... Can get sets with sizes varying by 0.1mm from 0.3mm up to 3mm. Normally 10 drills in a set. prices vary but can get from as little as the equivalent of £2.50 for 10 inc P&P if you shop around. They are ALL delicate though in the small sizes so use with care. They are standard shank sizes so fit the DSPIAE handle..

Nice review... May forgot to say about the adjustment screw and how it is works, but anyway very informal. Also a question. Can cut metal or brass rods with this. If you work with multimedia kits, like MFH, you definitely wants this option. Thanks for your time.

I bought it but for the price they ask it doesn't worth it. It doesn't give a clean close cut unfortunately. I've tried loads of cutters so far the only close like shave cut that you don't even need to clean afterwards is the Tamiya sharp pointed cutters the 74123. For me that's the best so far. The only one I haven't tried yet is the ridiculous priced gods hand but a friend that he is great modeler and try it he said he prefers the Tamiya one cos even the gods hand doesn't do a shave on the plastic edge. I do trust his judgment.

Don't buy unless from a shop! I went through the official internet store which sells through AliExpress. I created an account, and paid the sum required. The money has been taken from my card, but I never received a confirmation of my order. My account has also disappeared. Aliexpress has an "account retrieval" service where you put in the some of the digits of your credit card and the price you paid. I tried it, and it says that my credit card has never been used on their site. My bank statement says otherwise. I should have know better than to deal with the Chinese, but you have been advised.

Robert Barker I've cut a spur with a pair of God hand and the blade snapped

God hand cutters are different, they have a hammer and anvil approach (one arm is thick, the other thin) and it slices towards the anvil, these cutters have two slicers and they slice towards eachother. More like the Tamiya Sharp pointed side cutter, but even thinner, sharper.

No, these are single blade with a flat-top cutting surface as well. If the cross-section in the instructions goes by too fast in the video, check dspiae.com and take a close look at the package. The bottom blade is angled, but still flat on the top.

@@ytwos1 Ermm no, you getting the concept wrong friend, both nipper arm is the same thickness, just that one side is dull and another is sharp, that's what a single edge nipper is
