Quite refreshing, eh. No 1 minute intros, just straight to the point, as it should be.

same problem dt 350, though removing weather seal will start causing problems in wet

Did you remove the seal completely or did you replace it with a new one? Thanks

I had a similar issue and it was a wrong spacer in the hub body

That's where some of the chain suction into the bb and behind the crank comes from

@@5858cooper Removed completely (for now). Have new seals en route with the DT press tool. Hoping it’ll fix the issue, if not, I’m stumped as what to do without DT Swiss having to redesign the seal.

It might be an annoyance while you push your bike. But a problem? Why? It causes no additional friction while pedalling, and maybe 5 or so while coasting.
@hughjanus7354Ай бұрын
Why is it a problem? It can lead to chain suck and either - in best case scenario: dropped chain or - worst case scenario: dropped chain wedged between the frame and cranks or frame and cassette - i.e. fuking up your frame.

In my experience all ratchet DT Swiss hubs display this problem, some less some more but there's always friction.
@RhinosWorkshopАй бұрын
@@hughjanus7354 I’ve only ever had this on 180 EXP hubs, but good to know others out there have similar issues.
