A divorced transfer case and live front axle would be interesting. Holmes 600 twin boom pto wrecker frame would be useful. PTO front winch from a military truck would be fitting. Flat bed the rest. Wrecker booms make for handy yard cranes; will use the truck more often for projects with the booms. Example: Can lift up or hold something heavy from a project, for a long time period, instead of using a fork lift and not be able to use the fork lift for other tasks. Handy for recovering old equipment that's remote and heavy. Can still do an Edison conversion later on and demonstrate the pto capabilities; quietly without running the engine. Be a good static demonstration; can't take a crowd on a drive.

If you want wider tires get wide base singles rather than super singles. Also the wide base singles are generally available in a more aggressive tread design. The wide base singles were developed for highway trucks where the super single are geared more towards mining and construction.

Doing a concrete floor cut in a small commercial restaurant\bar bathroom for drain line tie-in & owner 'forgot' to notify alarm company, so Fire Dept shows up not once but twice because of the dust getting to smoke alarm detectors and setting off fire alarm at alarm company, which sends fire department full lights & sirens!.!👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻😷🤦🏻♂️

Started a new job, coming from the same company my boss had worked for previously, so he knew it wasn't a Mickey Mouse background. Younger kid was upset I was put in charge. Mentioned my education, experience, being twice as old, etc. Asked him what his experience was. Had worked one summer as a landscape labourer. Asked him if he had cut block, and with that asked him to cut out all the rebar from the concrete we had been demolishing. He came back asking if they'd buy him new work boots. He had cut the toe clean off. How he didn't smell the burning rubber, feel heat, etc. Lucky he still had all his toes. Kid wasn't all there, that's for sure.

@@wihamaki I watched a kid fill a chop saw with gas, set the gas can down directly behind where he was just cutting, and then proceed to start cutting the bundle of rebar again showering the gas can with sparks……guess what happened next 🤣 some people just don’t have common sense built in to their heads.

Working all those years at Mack, we stretched and shortened frames all the time. The L reinforcement was to reduce flex due to load weight being more than the original frame could do safely. Even short frames for concrete trucks sometimes had one inside and one outside. The reason we sold alot of Guilder Kits (cab/frame - no dr train) was because you could license it as a new truck and depreciate it again for taxes. But I'm sure your doing the opposite is for insurance purposes. huh??
