What kind of clamp did you use where the upper and lower tubes meet? My DT466 had a regular old hose clamp on it, which did nothing due to the raised edges on the end of each tube. So the filler tube moves all over the place, and it seems like there could be oil leaking where they meet because the clamp sucks. I was thinking about trying to find a "tube clamp" instead. Or does it not matter? Will the oil even come up out of the crankcase high enough where the tubes meet to where it could leak there?

Hi Cody! It does take a special clamp and seal, and yes it will leak there. The part#'s are 690835C1 (clamp), and 1812559C1 (seal). I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

@@HarrygTV thanks man! Any recommendations on where to buy parts online and also, where to find part numbers? I have a service manual but that’s it.

Where is the oring located ? Between where the upper oil dipstick and lower dipstick meet ? I have a oil leak coming between the clamp that's holds them together

The seal is located where the two pieces meet together. If you don't see it, then it may have disintegrated. Make sure the lower tube isn't cracked like the one on the video was. Thanks for watching!

Where does it normally crack? Mine is leaking right at the worm clamp where they meet
