@@g4lsupreme542 They didn’t even play switching defense when he played like that. Nobody said he couldn’t guard 1-5. If you watched when Marion played they didn’t switch pick and rolls. They played drop coverage, iced pick and rolls and hedged. When he played they didn’t switch floppy action they used to shoulder check players who ran around screens to slow them down. Switching defense is part of the scheme and era Draymond is in. You can’t fault Draymond for being elite in the role he was asked to play. A role that he did far better than Marion did at the role he was asked to play defensively. Leading to him having way more defensive accolades than Marion.

Draymond doesn't guard the best player of the other team... Before when they play teams in the playoffs like Cavs or OKC, it's Igoudala not Draymond guarding LeBron and KD.. In their last championship run it's Wiggins guarding Luka and Tatum not Draymond.. Marion will be great in this era can guard 1-5 except Embiid and Jokic..

Marion avg 1.6 blks and 2 steals in the mid-2000s and back then there were great power forwards. Draymond Green and matter of fact nobody else has done that as an undersized power forward. Marion was better

Rodman never really avged a bunch of blocks or steals a game as a starter or in his prime. But the man was a defensive genius with one of the greatest BB IQs and considered one of the greatest defensive players of all time. Draymond is similar. His IQ like Rodman make them HOF defensive players. Shawn was not ever in Draymond'ss league as a defender so stop the BS.

He was not the defender that Draymond was. Plus he couldn't guard centers because he was not a good post defender and was light in the add and could be pushed around. That is why he mostly guarded wing players and guards.
