do you take pictures from google and just change it up w backgrounds and words? sorry I’m still learning how to create my own graphics but I don’t really know the “rules”. I’m looking to sell on etsy for fun

There are a bunch of free stock resources available. You can use them as is or you can modify them for your purposes. Adobe Stock has a nice library of free stuff (as well as paid). Vecteezy is a great free resource for vector images. Hope that helps and good luck with your etsy store!!
