We used the same application settings for our UltraColor Max DTF Transfers: 290 degrees, 15 seconds, hot peel with a medium to light pressure.

Howdy! What kind brand of Poly top-coat would you suggest for going over the top of the UCM when placed on wood? I tried several different things we had on hand already: finishing mediums by liquitex (those all peeled off), and then a krylon spray matte finish... which had some sort of chemical reaction with the UCM causing it to warp and rise up from the wood, releasing the UCM and causing strange effects.

Hey Manda! I used the water-based Minwax Polycrylic for the one trophy shown here. If not left 24-28 hours after printing before applying, any liquid to the surface will release the Direct To Film print from the wood- forming some bubbles (typically near the center of the print). I did very light, thin coats for a total of 2-3 layers which turned out fantastic.

We have all of our heat transfers tested to the industry standard of 50 wash cycles. I personally (Dave) have hoodies and t-shirts that I wear all the time that are close to 2 years old printed with DTF that are showing no signs of peeling, fading or cracking.

Oooooh, while it's definitely possible, it may take some finesse around the curves of the underside of the board as it wouldn't lay flat on a heat press. We do have full color adhesive decals that may work easier and not require any heat! www.transferexpress.com/decals/custom-stickers
